[The camera catches a blurry glimpse of green with a faraway backdrop of ocean until it levels to show us this strange plant, looking rather bald and sorry. There's a heavy sigh and the image quivers again.]

Do you really think there's hope?

Plants are sturdier than they appear sometimes. It will be alright.

Would you like me to come over now?

Aya... Only if you aren't busy, alright? I'd hate to be a bother.

I should be ashamed of myself, working at a flower shop and being so darn clueless about this...

I'm not busy.

You have no reason to be ashamed. Plants are often like gentle people. They can seem so fragile but there is a lot of strength inside them that lets them keep on. All they need is to know that someone cares enough to nurture them.

---I care! I care a lot about this one!

How do I show that to a plant, though. Should I... like, talk to it?

I meant that by not neglecting it you care. It's been flourishing this long, right?

[Don't worry, Umi. He's on his way.]

Ever since I planted the seedling I got from the plant I got you for the shop. And Ascot used to always tend to it.

[Must. Not. Get. Melancholic.]

I'll be there soon and we can see what we can do.

[He knows that Clef is gone from how she phrased that part about him. So he's doing this to help her feel better. Yes, he is.]

[YOU'RE THE BEST BROTHER IN THE WORLD AYA.

...She'll be in the gardens beside the house. They're huge, kind of decadent, and the Cephirian populace residing there have given them this Cephiro flair.]

[He remembers where the gardens are since he still remembers the tour. So he heads that way and finds Umi there.]

Umi?

...Hey. [Someone's cleaning the plant's remaining leaves with a wet cloth and... magically conjured water. It's her theory that magically summoned water may help a magical plant.

But she looks up from the task at Aya's arrival and smiles.]

You didn't get lost in the terrace! Look at this poor thing.
