Actually, I don't even care. I can't even bring myself to MIND. He's back and even if he doesn't remember... Boy. I should be feeling NASTY for being this happy, but I can't. I won't.
Talking to him again was-- I know he'll remember. Both of them will. It's just a matter of time before they do. So it'll be alright. I'll be alright. Gosh, Euphie too. I should seriously call her or something.
...I swear that I don't know what I'm doing anymore. I'm... kinda going on instinct all around. And it's working! I mean, there WAS some sort of weird hunch that made me think I should bring her home. And see what happens next!

[Umi's annoyed tone is swallowed by static and loud crashing of waves. The recording is a blur of fur, sand speckles, froth and teeth.
...It suddenly seems as if the device is pawed away, landing on a hard surface and FINALLY broadcasting a clear image of this lovely thing, half covered in foam and sand herself, approaching it to carry on with the inspection.]
It's dangerous! Don't go closer to the rocks! Gah- You're SO making me do this on purpose... [Umi's voice sounds closer (as do the waves), just a moment before the small cat is picked up off camera, not before pawning the device one last time so it now shows an odd vantage point of Umi holding her awkwardly.] I told you not to! Listen here: you're my responsibility now. I get you like the sea, but if I'm going to keep you here that means you have to follow some ru--- OUCH!
[That's Umi's reaction as the kitten bites the finger the Water Knight was pointing at her.] What was THAT?? Really! Do I have to--?
[But that, too, is interrupted as a particularly large wave rears behind them. Umi gasps as the cat squirms away from her grasp and dangerously close to it. Without hesitation, the Knight raises a hand. The much stronger tide of water that flows seemingly out of her palm pushes the wave back before it can drown the pet... but leaves the two of them rather soaked.
Umi's obviously relieved but still rolls her eyes.] Now LOOK what you made me do...!
