I don't think they can be stopped.

I have to believe they can be, Carl. I refuse to just sit down and accept I'm a toy to some weirdos.

I don't think acceptance is appropriate, of course; I do, however, think that we need to be creative. Open rebellion would likely be disastrous.

At the very least, please limit what you say on the subject on the network. I suspect the deities can read absolutely everything, regardless of the privacy codes put in place.

I bothered throwing all those filters there. I'm CERTAINLY not talking about something open! Though... if you ask me how I feel right now, I'd say I could grab my sword and just... do something... very stupid.

I was just thinking about that. Meetings are probably the best way to discuss this sort of thing.

Do avoid doing anything stupid. Thank you.

Undoubtedly. Not that I'm necessarily rebellion material, but might you tell me if any such meetings occur?

This place is making it harder than it should, let me tell you. But I will. I'm no use to anyone injured or cursed indefinitely...

If you like. I trust you, Carl. But I don't intend to drag anyone into this against their will.

I would appreciate it, yes. You would hardly be dragging me into anything, anyway; I've been trying to understand the workings of the City and the true identities of those who make the curses happen for some time.

...I don't get it. What makes you and Youko think it may not be the deities behind the curses? Just because there's proof of higher powers it doesn't mean those are actually concerned with this place.

I have some doubts about the deities' true powers. I'm afraid I don't have concrete evidence supporting any suspicions I might have, but I would be surprised if the deities had as much power as they lead us to believe.

All the more reason to try to do something about this! We should take this step by step. If the deities aren't THAT almighty then finding a way to overpower them is possible! Then we can worry about whatever's next.

They're still more than powerful enough to pose a serious threat. Whatever is to be done should be done cautiously--researched, planned, mapped out. This isn't something to undertake without taking time to prepare.

Why is it that everyone thinks all I see to this is running out to fight those creepers... Of course it needs planning. That's why I can't do it alone! I'm not good at strategy. But if someone has a plan I'll certainly do my part!

I don't think you would run off without a plan, but caution can't be emphasized enough.

Perhaps something will come of this. Your post might at least kindle the spark of rebellious fervour in others who are more capable of organizing anything.

...Well, thanks for saying it.

I think I have a hint. Or a start. Er... contacts. I don't even know what on earth to call it. So we'll see what gives. Something must be done anyway.

I don't even want to know what sort of contacts you've managed to find. I hope they'll prove useful, however!

Carl... I wouldn't compromise you. I don't plan to become an outlaw or anything! So people don't have to be careful of not associating themselves with me.
