How do you act during a break-up?
I get all broody. Move to Los Angeles. Become a private eye. No wait, that's Angel's thing. I'm a bit less with the broodin', and more with the drinkin'. So I drink. I drink allot.
Unfortunately, it takes crap loads of booze to get a vampire drunk. So unless I can get someone to pay the tab, I waste allot of cash on said liquor.
After I get past the whole bein' drunk part. I sober up. Feel all bad for myself. Try to get plastered again. Eventually things return to normal. Or as normal as things can be for a trouble prone creature of the night.
Thankfully, I've only had a couple of major break-ups over my very long existence. First with my wild and crazy sire Drusilla. Then with Buffy. Both times, it felt like my world had come to an end. But the world didn't end. Didn't end for her at least. Thanks to me savin' the world. It continued on. And I moved on. Or least tried to move on.
I started over in Los Angeles. Became a hero of the people. Helped save the world again and all that sod. And yeah, on paper, me and Mr. Tall, Dark, and Broody ended up doin' similar things after our break-ups with the slayer. But like I said, Angel's more with the broodin' and not havin' any fun. I'm more with the drinkin' and havin' some fun. Speakin' of such, think it's time to go out for a little night on the town. See if I can't find some trouble. Cause trouble is what keeps thing's interestin'.
