Part One Kame woke to a messy mop of dark curls in front of his face, causing him to break into a bright smile as he yawned and stretched. He belatedly noticed that Jin was occupying most of the bed, sprawled out with limbs in all directions, sleeping with utter abandon. Jin really did put his all into everything.
Kame got up and dressed quickly, doing his best not to wake Jin up, although there was probably no need for that. As soon as he was dressed he walked around the bed to Jin’s side, kneeling down to lightly stroke his hair.
I wonder when he finally got home last night.
Kame shook the thought away. It didn’t matter; Jin deserved a night out. He had probably gone out with Yamapi and Ryo, blowing off some much needed steam. Kame had no right to claim all of his time.
He leaned in and placed a soft kiss to Jin’s brow, caressing his face a few more times before standing up and heading into the kitchen, Jin still blissfully oblivious to the world.
He noticed that Jin must have indeed been hungry when he returned last night, for the food Kame had left for him had been vanquished, leaving nothing but a pile of dirty dishes. Kame sighed at the sight; he really didn’t have time to clean up after Jin’s messes; but then noticed a hastily scribbled note beside the plate.
Food was amazing as always. Will do the dishes tomorrow so do not touch them or face my wrath.
Kame smiled at the note. It wasn’t the first time Jin expressed his apologies via threats.
As a response he prepared a small makeshift breakfast for Jin once he woke up, being sure to leave a note beside it stating that he had better wash these dishes as well, or else. After glancing at the time, Kame quickly grabbed a granola bar that would serve as his own breakfast and headed out.
He decided on taking the train today so he wouldn’t be fumbling with the wheel of his car while trying to eat and inadvertently get himself killed. Blaming Jin for distracting him enough that he hadn’t even had time to make himself coffee, he stopped at a small café near his apartment and bought a small cupful, picking up a newspaper while he was there to read on the train.
The coffee wasn’t very good, and was taking too long to cool off when Kame needed it now, but he made himself be content with it for the sole intent of not starting his day off badly. He found himself a somewhat secluded seat on the train, sipping his coffee cautiously as he opened his newspaper.
As he flipped through it however, a certain page of said newspaper almost made him spit out his coffee in surprise, but aware that he was in a public place, he ended up swallowing a too big gulp of hot liquid that thoroughly burned his mouth. Kame coughed and sputtered slightly, trying to make his eyes stop watering so much from the scalded feeling in his mouth enough to read the paper again.
AKANISHI JIN SEEN ENTERING A HOTEL WITH AMERICAN BACK-DANCER LAST NIGHT.
Popular singer/songwriter Akanishi Jin was seen last night with back-dancer Lizzy entering a hotel hand in hand. The idol was reported seen with a happy grin on his face and his girl appeared to be quite eager herself. The couple were not seen to leave until much later in the night.
Kame re-read the article a few times, not quite knowing what to think. So Jin had been out with Lizzy last night, huh? Kame wasn’t sure if he was glad that there had been no picture accompanying the article or not. Most likely, none of this was true, just another rumour the press made up to get attention. Maybe that’s why there was no picture.
But…
What if it was true? Kame was not sure how he would react to actually seeing a picture of Jin walking hand in hand with a girl into a hotel… Kame shook his head to clear it. That was ridiculous. Jin was trustworthy. This was just another rumour, one of the many. Nothing to get upset over.
But Kame no longer had the will to convince himself that the coffee was anything near drinkable.
<><><><><>
Jin’s day had been awkward to say the least. Lizzy had been following him around all day, giving him looks, and the rest of his crew and some of the staff were alternately teasing him about the article in the paper and pumping him for information on how much of it was actually true. He was more than ready to call it a day.
“Don’t you even feel the slightest bit ripped off?” Lizzy had said to him. “Nothing even happened and it still got into the paper. We might as well have enjoyed ourselves; an equal amount of damage would have been done!”
Jin tried to ignore her, but the woman simply would not take ‘no’ for an answer.
“Whoever this girl is that you’re interested in, she’s not worth denying yourself some pleasure once in a while. Besides, if she’s not even your girlfriend than she has no claim on you! You would have no reason to feel guilty.”
“Lizzy, please, I’ve had enough for today. I’m done discussing this.” He was getting annoyed by now. He stomped into his dressing room, doing his best to tune Lizzy out as he got his stuff together to get ready to leave. “Anything in here that I should know about?” he asked bluntly, holding up his gym bag.
“Not today.” Lizzy answered curtly, apparently deciding she had the right to be annoyed herself. She quickly stormed up to him, fisting a hand in his jacket. “Just let go, Jinny. Give in. I promise you it would be great.”
As Jin felt her leaning in, trying to kiss him, he backed up, trying to push her away. Unfortunately this just coaxed Lizzy into fisting her other hand in his jacket as well, getting a firm grip. “Lizzy, I said no!”
But she was persistent, certain that once she got started, Jin wouldn’t want her to stop. She pulled on his jacket, attempting to sensuously slide it down his shoulders, but Jin pulled away again as much as he could with her firm grip on his jacket.
Quite certain now that Lizzy was not going to back down, Jin tugged desperately on his jacket, trying to escape. Lizzy only pulled harder then, and finally Jin resorted to pulling his arms out of his jacket and leaving it behind in her grasp. He was done dealing with this.
He was going home. To Kame.
Jin grabbed the rest of his stuff and left without giving Lizzy a second glance.
“You will change your mind , Jin!” Lizzy yelled at him from down the hall. “You’ll see the light soon enough! You don’t know what you’re missing out on!”
Her voice was finally silenced by the slamming of the door. Jin found himself slightly amused at finding himself in a similar situation as a character in a Bible story he had once read, about a Jew named Joseph who had left his coat behind in the grasp of his master’s wife after he had refused to sleep with her. Jin too had successfully avoided temptation and fled from it. He allowed himself a small bit of pride over this.
He had forgotten that the master’s wife had soon gotten her revenge.
<><><><><>
Kame remained silent when Jin entered the apartment, determined not to even bring up the subject of the newspaper article. If Jin thought it prudent, he would bring it up himself; there was no reason to get all flustered about it.
Immediately after entering the apartment and removing his shoes, Jin had strutted right up to Kame and embraced him from behind, inhaling the scent of his hair.
Kame shivered slightly as Jin began to place gentle kisses all along his neck, his hands going up of their own accord to link his fingers with Jin’s.
“Tadaima.” Jin said, voice was low and hoarse, hot breath ghosting over his boyfriend’s neck.
Kame couldn’t help but shiver once more at Jin’s tone. “Okaeri.” He managed, tilting his head toward Jin to place a kiss on his forehead, closing his eyes and then nuzzling him with his cheek. Jin loved him; there was no need to worry.
“You have no idea how much I missed you today.” Jin muttered, slowly pulling on the neck of Kame’s loose t-shirt to tug it over his shoulder, exposing the bare skin there, before placing soft kisses there as well.
“Long day?” Kame’s voice was soft, entranced by Jin’s attentions. His head tilted more to the side to give Jin more access to him and let out a soft gasp when he felt Jin bite gently into his shoulder.
“You have no idea.” Jin lifted his head and turned Kame around, wanting some kisses in return.
Kame pressed their mouths together, Jin’s lips effectively pushing every fleeting thought about rumours and stupid newspaper articles right out of his head. Jin wasn’t with Lizzy right now was he? He was here, with him.
Jin could feel all his annoyance and frustration over his day melt away in Kame’s kiss, as if Kame was a wave of water that put out his flame of frustration; then ignited a different kind of fire instead… He grinned at his own thoughts, grabbing onto Kame’s hips and pulling them against his own, kiss turning more passionate as their bodies melded together-
Just then Jin felt an unwelcome vibration in his pocket, which seemed even more startling than usual because he could feel it through Kame’s body as well since they were pressed so closely together. He broke the kiss with a frustrated groan, and he could feel his bad mood coming back.
Kame apparently found it rather amusing, and he chuckled as he pulled away from Jin. “Maybe it’s important, Jin.” He said, grin all over his face. “Perhaps it’s Yamapi trying to protect my virtue.” He chuckled some more, then lowered his voice. “Or yours.”
Jin gave him a childish glare before digging his phone out of his pocket. It probably was Yamapi, and Jin would be sure to punish him for the interruption with vivid details of what exactly he had been interrupting…
He flipped open his phone, glare morphing into an expression of surprise and slight trepidation as he saw that the sender was Lizzy. It was a picture message.
He opened it, and he had to consciously focus on preventing his jaw from dropping at what he saw. It was a picture of Lizzy, in nothing but her underwear, in a very, provocative pose.
<>
Kame gave Jin an odd look when his boyfriend continued to stare at his phone with an unreadable expression on his face. “What is it? Is it Yamapi after all?” he said, moving around to see the screen.
Jin started when he heard Kame’s voice and instantly snapped his phone shut, forcing a grin onto his face. “Uh, yeah. Pi. Being a moron as usual. Hey what’s for dinner?!” There was no way in hell he was going to let Kame know of Lizzy’s advances.
The way he saw it, Kame would have either one of two reaction: one, he would take it quietly and calmly and insist that he was okay with it and trusted Jin, but would get this saddened and apprehensive look every time Jin went to work, making Jin feel incredibly guilty; or two, he would get furious and go after the girl herself. Both of them would be disastrous for their lives and relationship. No, he would deal with Lizzy by himself; no need to put another source of stress into Kame’s life.
Kame was silent for a moment as Jin cheerfully sat at the table, a little confused at his boyfriend’s odd behavior. “I was thinking ramen for tonight. That sound okay?”
“Sounds lovely!”
Kame nodded and turned to the counter to start on dinner, his brain beginning to dwell once again on that article from this morning. Could Jin really be hiding something from him? Just what did happen last night? He reluctantly decided that maybe he should bring up that article after all. “So.” He began, still facing away from Jin. “Read about you in the paper today.” He was careful to keep all accusation from his voice, just making a statement; remaining completely indifferent to the subject.
Jin tensed. Of course Kame would have read that article. What on earth should he say? “Yeah,” he chuckled. “The press really will print anything won’t they.”
Kame made a noncommittal sound. Was Jin denying it then? “It’s not true then.” He was careful to make it sound like a statement, rather than the question hidden deep within it.
Jin just forced out another laugh. “Like Lizzy and I would be caught dead going into a hotel together twice within a few months. Yeah right.” It wasn’t exactly a lie; the implications that that article was trying to push really were completely untrue. He didn’t want Kame to have to worry about him and Lizzy; they were nothing. And would always be nothing. More than friends anyway, if she would stop pushing this.
He opened his phone again, glaring at the picture. Lizzy was hot, he had to admit it. And this photo wasn’t exactly unpleasant to look at; obviously her intention. What she didn’t understand was that while Jin would admit that her body was attractive, the person behind it was what he was rejecting. And infinite photos would do nothing to change his mind about that.
Kame turned on the faucet to wash a couple of dishes that Jin had conveniently missed the other night, thinking quietly to himself. Jin had implied that the whole incident was a fictional rumour; but then why did Kame not feel more at ease? Jin’s odd behavior was making him feel like Jin was hiding something from him.
He was sorely tempted to outright ask where and with who Jin had been last night, but the last thing he wanted to do in their relationship was become a control freak who demanded to know every detail of his boyfriend’s life. So he ended up biting his tongue, remaining quiet as he vigorously soaped up the dishes.
Jin sneaked a glance behind at Kame, relieved to find him preoccupied with the dishes, when he felt his phone vibrate once again. He muffled a curse to himself as he saw it was yet another picture message from Lizzy; this one of her in a similar position, this time her hands behind her back obviously undoing one of the few garments she was actually wearing. Who was taking these pictures? The only text was an emoticon of her winking. His grip on the phone became dangerously tight. Give it up Lizzy, I’ll take Kame’s boxers over your bra any day.
Kame’s thoughts were running amok inside his brain. He trusted Jin. He really did. But then why would Jin hide something from him? Of course, there was no actual proof that Jin was indeed doing so, but he just had a strong inclination that something was amiss with his boyfriend.
Kame shook his head, trying to clear it. No. Jin would not hide things from me. Jin trusts me. I trust Jin. I’m just on edge because of that annoying article this morning; that’s all.
But Kame found his resolution wavering a bit when he heard the soft little noise that Jin’s phone made whenever he deleted something, twice, and his hands began to shake slightly under the spray of the faucet.
<><><><><>
Kame spent the majority of the next day convincing himself that he had nothing to worry about and that he trusted Jin. He really did. Jin had spent the last six years and even a few before that demonstrating how much he loved Kame. Jin was not the type of person to throw all that away.
Kame remembered the brief little flash of doubt he had had a few weeks ago when he had found that bra inside Jin’s bag, and how guilty he had felt later for even doubting Jin the slightest bit.
Sure Jin was behaving strangely; hiding things behind his back, forcing his smiles, hiding and deleting text messages, getting questionable things put in the paper about him, but Kame was sure that all of that could be innocently explained. Despite his concerns, Kame was determined to not let his trust in his boyfriend waver again.
With this new found determination, Kame let himself inside Jin’s apartment, intending to surprise Jin when he came home, and maybe engage in some exercise with him. He had pushed Jin away the night before, mumbling an excuse about how he was tired; but today he would make it up to Jin.
He shook his head at the rather messy state of affairs inside the apartment, and an amused grin spread on his face as he noticed a trail of clothes leading towards the bedroom. Jin had the habit of stripping as he walked to save time, particularly after having a long day.
Kame lifted each piece of the trail as he went, dumping the entire load into the hamper once inside Jin’s room. The room itself looked almost as if it had been ransacked, as the entire area was covered in more clothes, some notebooks, a guitar, and a few dishes.
Damn it Jin. Kame sighed as he began to clean up a bit. He hated having to clean up after Jin all the time, it made him feel like a housewife, and there was no way in hell he was going to be Jin’s housewife.
He stopped when his eye caught a familiar pattern of blue and black swirls, and he lifted a pair of Jin’s boxers up to uncover the rest of the garment.
My shirt! Jin had had this forever. It was about time he got it back…
Wait a minute…
Kame quickly noticed the new, less fashionable addition to one of his favourite shirts; a somewhat faded, blotchy, purple stain.
Akanishi…
I knew it! Jin was positively incapable of not ruining something that Kame was attached to. He scratched through his hair roughly, upset and frustrated, but resigned to the fact that nothing could make this undone.
Kame thought it looked like a wine stain, but it was faded somewhat, so he couldn’t be sure. Wine or, lipstick maybe?
A new knot of worry appeared inside Kame’s stomach. Lipstick?! Or wine?! Either one was bad enough, making Kame’s head spin with all the images that shot through his brain. He pictured Jin having a candlelight dinner with a girl, leaning in to kiss her, then the girl accidentally spilling wine all over his shirt, offering to help him out of it… then helping him out of the shirt only to kiss over it sensuously, leaving red lipstick marks all over it, giving a preview of what was to come…
“AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”
Kame was sure a few of Jin’s neighbors were now a little frightened by his volume, but he didn’t care.
No! No No No! He loves me! He would never do that no!
He was overreacting, he knew. The likelihood that that incident had actually happened was beyond slim. Jin would never do that to him. Kame blamed the fact that he had been over worked lately and needed to blow of some steam.
He needed Jin.
<><><><><><>
Jin was getting close to the breaking point with Lizzy. He had lost count of how many times the phrase: ‘Never hit a woman’ had run through his head over the course of the day. It wouldn’t be long before he cracked.
Lizzy too could see he was about to crack, but wholeheartedly believed it was to her methods of persuasion. Consequently, she had not given him much space today. Because of this, Jin had formed a habit of hiding in the men’s bathroom whenever he got the chance, although that hadn’t deterred Lizzy either until several other men had entered the bathroom as well.
After they were done with practice for that day, Jin again had hid in the bathroom for several minutes, hoping that Lizzy would give up for the day and go home. He peeked outside the bathroom door, and seeing no sign of his back-dancer, he moved quietly toward his dressing room.
As he glanced around in front of his door and cautiously tried to open it, he was startled by Lizzy coming out of it. Damn it. “What were you doing in there?!” he asked.
“Why, waiting for you my Jinny-kun.” She acted as if that was perfectly normal.
“Well, please refrain from entering it without my permission.”
She sighed. “Look Jin. I won’t force you into this. You need more time to think about it. I realise that now. I’ll stop bothering you so much from now on. I know you’ll come to the right decision eventually. I’ll wait for you to come to me. I’ve learned you can be slow sometimes.” She gave him a teasing smile.
Jin sighed, but couldn’t help but smile at that last comment; that kind of teasing was what he was used to in their friendship. What he wanted to go back to. “Thank you. I appreciate it. Although I cannot promise you will get the decision that you are hoping for.”
“Whatever you say.” She chuckled, waving goodbye as she walked down the hall.
Jin gave a sigh of relief, going inside his dressing room to change back into his normal clothes, eager to head home. Maybe he could see Kame today if he was lucky.
When Jin opened the door to his apartment, he had no time to even remove his shoes before he was jumped by a very hot, and apparently very eager boyfriend. Kame had instantly pinned him against the door, kissing him like there was no tomorrow. Jin grunted in surprise but kissed back eagerly, wondering if Kame was trying to make up for last night’s lack of activities.
Kame pulled back briefly. “Okaeri.” He whispered into his ear before moving down to kiss Jin’s neck, his hands already slipping beneath Jin’s shirt, caressing the bare skin of his waist.
“T-Tadaima.” Jin gasped out, unprepared for the sudden assault of sensations Kame was evoking out of him. “Did I do something exceptionally wonderful or did you just miss me?” he chuckled slightly.
Kame kissed his way back up to his face. “I just…” he trailed off, looking Jin in the eyes. “I just need you right now.”
There was a pleading in Kame’s eyes that Jin couldn’t quite decipher; a mixture of hope and fear, and he had no idea what was meant by it. “Are you okay?” he asked, concerned. “Did something happen today?”
Kame shook his head. “No, I’m fine. I just…” he nuzzled his head into Jin’s neck. “I love you, you know.” He mumbled, barely audible.
Jin pulled him close, lifted Kame’s head back up to press their lips together again. “I love you too.” He said, and smiled brightly when Kame grinned at him.
Kame got a firm grip of the collar of Jin’s t-shirt and pulled him towards the bedroom, intentions clear, and Jin followed easily enough. He pushed Jin down on the bed and climbed on top of him, letting their mouths meet once more.
Jin moaned as Kame’s hand slipped inside his shirt, quickly finding his nipples and playing with them. He quickly returned the favour by slipping his own hand under Kame’s clothes, eagerly pushing his shirt up to his armpits.
They broke apart briefly to remove their shirts completely, and Jin flipped Kame over onto his back as soon as he got a full view of his boyfriend’s perfect chest. He kissed him again, thoroughly aroused and happy beyond what he ever thought he could be that he had such a wonderful person as his lover. He would never let Kame go.
Kame’s thoughts were of a similar nature as he ran a hand through Jin’s hair, and it suddenly seemed beyond ridiculous to even think that Jin could betray him. Jin loved him.
Eagerly Kame’s hand wandered down Jin’s body, playing with his nipples again briefly until he heard a pleased gasp from Jin, then continued downward, playing with his waistband. His hand moved around to Jin’s butt, giving it a slight squeeze, when he felt a strange firm shape in Jin’s back jean pocket.
Jin, who’s entire attention was currently on Kame’s neck, did not even register Kame’s hand as it slid into his back pocket, pulling out the unfamiliar object. He did however, notice when he was suddenly roughly shoved off of the bed.
“WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!”
Kame’s voice was deep and powerful, and frankly, rather intimidating to Jin as he tried to scramble up off the floor. “Ha?!”
Kame stomped towards him, prompting Jin to take a step back out of a brief flash of pure fear, and shoved something in his face.
“This! You idiotic asshole!”
Jin looked at the object in Kame’s grip and gasped, a hand quickly coming up to cover his mouth. It was a photograph of Lizzy, wearing absolutely nothing, in a very suggestive pose blowing a kiss toward where the camera had been. “HA?!”
“Don’t give me that Akanishi!” Kame shouted as he threw the picture into Jin’s face. “I am such an idiot! First that bra, then that newspaper article, then you are hiding things from me, acting weird; I should’ve seen this coming!”
Jin’s heart clenched in fear. “K-Kame n-no… that’s not what this is…”
“Then what is it Akanishi! Tell me what am I supposed to think when I find a nude picture of your blonde American back-dancer who just so happens to be very hot, IN YOUR BACK POCKET?”
Jin had to admit, this didn’t look good.
“Kame please! I swear I can explain everything!”
“And just why should I believe you this time?!”
“Because I’m telling you the tru-“
“How the hell do I know that?!”
“BECAUSE I LOVE YOU DAMMIT!!” With that Jin collapsed on the bed, exhausted and upset. Why did this have to happen again? Why?
Kame was quiet, startled by the utter veracity of Jin’s last statement. Was Jin really that good of an actor? He didn’t want to believe that Jin could be lying to him, but when all the facts pointed one way and his boyfriend’s word in another, which was he supposed to believe?
“Lizzy wants me. I won’t deny that.” Jin said in a small voice that sounded as if it were on the verge of breaking. “She’s been trying to get me to sleep with her. She won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.” He sniffed. “I have never given in to her.” Jin held on to his composure as best as he could; a deep fear inside him, terrified that Kame wouldn’t believe him.
Kame plopped down on the bed beside Jin with a sigh, wiping away a small tear from his eye, heart clenching with a sharp pain when he noticed tears in Jin’s eyes as well. He took a deep breath. “Were you with her last Saturday?”
Kame’s voice was low, almost dangerous, and Jin would never even think of lying to it. “Yes.” He admitted. “She pulled me into a hotel while I was distracted. I…I didn’t even notice until she practically spelled out her intentions. I was completely oblivious.”
That rang out truth, Kame thought, since he was sure that in no lie would Jin make himself appear slow or stupid, and Kame couldn’t help but grin at that. “What happened after that?” he questioned a little most gently.
“We left. I told her no and then went home.” Jin dared to look up at him. “To you.”
Kame ran a gentle hand lightly through Jin’s hair, tucking a lock behind his ear. “And then?”
“She’s been trying to get me to change my mind. Sending me suggestive pictures of herself and stuff. She doesn’t get it.”
“She doesn’t know you’re in a relationship?”
“No. I must have once said that I didn’t have a girlfriend, and telling them what I do have is probably out of the question.”
Kame nodded, tilted Jin’s head toward him and looked him in the eye. “This is the truth?”
Jin gazed deeply into Kame’s eyes; saw the raw pain, fear, hope, and love deep within them. “Yes.” He said, gaze never wavering. “I would never cheat on you. Ever.”
No one could hide a lie in that pure, unadulterated love that was in Jin’s eyes. Jin was telling him the truth. Kame leaned in and kissed him, with passion and relief, and Jin instantly clutched onto him like a lifeline, and Kame noticed a lone small tear falling from his boyfriend’s eyes. He quickly wiped it away, tugging Jin to his chest. “It’s okay.” He soothed. “I believe you.”
Jin clung to him, trembling slightly, filled with remorse that he had given Kame enough reason to doubt him, again. “I’m so sorry.” he muttered.
Kame rubbed his back and placed gentle kisses all over Jin’s face to try to calm him down, rocking them both from side to side. Gradually Jin was quieted, and he pulled back a little to kiss him again. “You’ll tell me next time when something like this happens right?”
Jin nodded adamantly. “Yes. Although I seriously hope there won’t be a next time, but I won’t keep anything from you.”
Kame rested his head on Jin’s shoulder, while Jin rubbed his back, when his eye once again caught something on the bed. “And what about this…?” he asked, holding up his stained shirt.
Jin’s eyes widened and he instantly was on his feet, snatching the shirt and backing away from Kame. “I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” he stammered, futilely hiding the shirt behind his back out of instinct. “I didn’t mean to! I don’t even remember doing it!”
Kame stood up slowly, keeping his face unreadable, stepping slowly in Jin’s direction.
“I don’t know how this happened Kame! I’ve tried to fix it! I really have!” Jin continued to back up as Kame continued to approach him, thoroughly unsettled that he couldn’t read Kame’s expression. “I’ll replace it! I’ll buy you a brand new one!” Jin then remembered that they already hadn’t been able to find another shirt like that one. “Or one just like it anyway!” Kame was still advancing on him, and Jin’s back hit the wall. “Please don’t be mad at me!” he closed his eyes once Kame stood in front of him, not knowing what to expect, when a pair of soft lips pressed against his, brushing softly with nothing other than pure gentleness. “Kame?”
Kame kissed him again. “Baka.” He said softly. “I’ll take a ruined shirt over a ruined relationship any day.” Their lips met again, and Kame felt Jin’s arms wrap around his waist.
“I’m sorry, I really tried to get it out. I must have washed it over twenty times!”
Kame glanced at the stain once more. “Did you try to bleach it?”
Jin said nothing.
“Jin come on! That’s a basic skill!”
“Well I don’t know! Bleach is always referred to as something bad. It ruins clothes, and kills you when mixed with stuff.”
“Only with ammonia. And it only ruins colours, Jin. This part of the shirt is white.”
“Sorry.”
Kame couldn’t help but laugh. “What a day you’ve put me through.” But leaned in to kiss him anyway, Jin eagerly responding, happy to get attention away from the ruined shirt.
“I’m sorry for that too.” Jin said between kisses. “I’ll do… anything to win back… your trust. Do you... do you want me to tell everyone… that we’re together?”
Kame thought about that for a minute, then smiled. “I don’t think that will be necessary.” And pulled Jin to the bed once more.
The next morning when Jin went to work, Lizzy disdainfully noticed a rather evident hickey on Jin’s neck.

A/N:So, yeah. How was it? This one was supposed to be just a short little fic but yeah, came out a bit longer than i thought it would.
I'm starting to think that all of my fics are going to be some kind of sequels to each other; they all seem to link together in some way or another. I think my brain is trying to create it's own Akame universe. Maybe I should call these fics part of a series? Idk, i'm just thinking out loud here. Feel free to give me any suggestions, criticism, ideas, or requests.
Hope you guys enjoyed it. Comments=the warm fuzzy feelings.
