Jin trampled noisily into his boyfriend’s apartment, cursing softly as he went. His day had been long and irritating, to say the least. His manager was a slave driver, his choreographer was a slave driver, the guys in his crew were just plain stupid sometimes, the girls in his crew were even more stupid all the time, and he had a massive headache. Jin had reached his limit. He was more than relieved that the day was over and he could finally come home to his loving, beautiful boyfriend.
“Tadaima!” Jin said loudly enough so Kame could hear him from wherever in the apartment he happened to be, tossing his bag and jacket somewhere randomly, aware that Kame hated it when he did that but he was just too tired to care tonight. Ran-chan greeted him first with a chipper bark, and he bent down to pet her for a moment before she wandered off again, apparently deciding there must be more interesting things to discover than Jin. Jin was nothing new.
He heard a soft ‘okaeri’ from the direction of the living room, and wandered towards the voice, quite anxious to see Kame.
Kame had had a much needed day off today, one Jin understood how much he really needed. Hopefully Kame would be rested up and energetic enough for some ‘activities’ in the bedroom tonight.
He pictured Kame waiting quietly for him to come home, maybe in nothing but a bathrobe after having a hot shower, all relaxed and rested, smiling brightly at him once he arrived… Jin smiled at the thought.
He pushed through the door excitedly, his gaze quickly focusing on Kame, only to be greeted with a rather different sight than what he had expected.
Kame was sprawled out on the sofa, wearing a white tank top and a pair of baggy sweatpants, his feet spread apart slightly on the coffee table, a half finished beer in one hand, and the remote in the other, lazily flipping through the channels. He appeared as if he’d just rolled out of bed, his hair wasn’t brushed, and Jin had a strong suspicion he hadn’t showered either.
“Well don’t you look like you’ve had a rough day.” Jin said sarcastically, childishly upset that his day had been so long and rough when his boyfriend had been lounging around all day doing nothing, regardless of the fact that Kame really deserved this day off. Jin doubted he had even moved from the sofa at all aside from essential bathroom visits.
Kame merely shrugged and let out a grunt as a response as he continued with his channel flipping.
Jin rolled his eyes, approaching Kame for a kiss, when he noticed…it.
Kame hadn’t shaved either.
There was a small… growth, on Kame’s chin, unwelcome stubble that totally did not belong on his boyfriend’s face. To most people Jin supposed it may only be barely noticable, but to him, who had been with Kame for years, it was as obvious as a bright blinking neon sign.
Kame was leaning toward him automatically for his welcome home kiss, eyes still on the TV and only half paying attention, only looking away when he fell over sideways when Jin suddenly backed away from him. “What the heck Jin?” he said as he pushed himself back up into a sitting position.
Jin just stared at him pointedly.
“What?” Kame asked, raising an eyebrow at Jin’s piercing stare. “Do I have something on my face?”
“Yes.” Jin says emphatically, pouting slightly.
Kame lifts his hand to his face, then realises what Jin is referring to. “Ah. I see.”
Jin continues to stare at him, and his pout grows bigger.
Kame tries to turn his attention back to the television, but Jin’s gaze feels like it’s boring into him. “What do you want from me Jin? I know you don’t like it but it’s my day off and I really didn’t feel like even moving for once, much less shaving when I don’t even need to go out.” He sighed. “You know how tiring it is to shave every day, be immaculately groomed twenty-four seven, having to be perfect. It gets old.”
Jin did understand this, he knew how tiresome it was to have to look perfect and spotless every day, but didn’t Kame at least want to appear slightly presentable in front of his own boyfriend? At least enough to remove what might as well be sandpaper on his face…“Yes, I do understand. But can’t you just… now that you’ve had all day…” he trailed off, not really wanting to voice his thoughts.
“I’m not shaving, Jin.” Kame replied in a tone that left no room for argument. “I refuse to do it until I absolutely have to, which will be tomorrow morning. So you’re just going to have to cope for tonight.”
Jin continued to pout. If he had to shave this morning, then so should Kame. “If you don’t shave right now Kamenashi, you won’t be getting even one kiss from me tonight!” he threatened. It was childish, he knew, but he intensely disliked the feel of Kame’s facial hair irritating his skin when they kissed. Facial hair just did not belong on Kame’s face.
Kame just shrugged, taking a swig of his beer before letting out a rather abrupt belch.
“You complain about the same thing when I don’t shave!” Jin tried again.
“And you never end up doing it either, so I guess we’re even.” Kame said smugly, smirking at him.
Jin wasn’t going to give up easily. “I mean it Kamenashi. You will get not one kiss from me if you don’t remove that… that stuff off your face.”
“It’s one days growth, Jin. You act as if I’ve grown a beard, or transformed into an ape or something.” Kame chuckled slightly, taking another swig of his beer.
Jin growled and stomped into the bedroom. Two could play at this game. He quickly changed into a t-shirt and sweats himself, secretly relieved at being in more comfortable clothes, and trudged into the kitchen, grabbing himself a beer, and taking a couple aspirin while he was at it for his now only growing headache. He returned to the living room and plopped down next to his boyfriend, deliberately propping his feet unceremoniously onto the coffee table with a thud next to Kame’s.
They sat in silence for a while, flipping through channels lazily, conversation consisting only of low grunts. We must look like a couple of out of work bums, Jin mused.
He tried to think, What habits do I have that bother Kame? One would think this list would be generous, with several things to choose from, but now that Jin thought about it, maybe Kame was much more tolerant of him than he had thought.
Jin wished more than anything he could grow some stubble himself right now; maybe a goatee or something. Kame hated it when there was growth on his face.
Ready to try anything, Jin set his feet flat onto Kame’s glass table, trying his best to track dirt and footprints on it. On any other day, there would be hell to pay for that, but to his dismay, Kame didn’t even seem to notice.
Trying again, he took a swig of his beer, letting out as loud of a belch as he could; another thing that would earn him at least a glare on a normal day, but now, Kame merely answered it with a burp of his own.
Having enough of it, Jin took another long swig of his beer, and leaned in close to Kame’s ear , belching loudly into it.
Kame gave him a look, but that was the extent of his reprimand, then sighed “Look Jin, I’ll promise you a date night in clean, silk yukatas with wine and candles and whatever else you want if you just let this go for tonight. I’ll put on eyeliner and even tie up my hair into that ponytail you like so much.”
At least it appeared he would get something out of this. “I just want you to shave dammit….” he grumbled softly.
Kame chuckled again, turning back to the television and casually leaned forward to slide his hand inside his pant leg to scratch his knee; a particularly hairy leg, Jin noticed.
“That’s not a day’s growth.” He commented.
Kame rolled his eyes. “I haven’t had a performance where I needed to shave for quite a while. Don’t tell me that bothers you too now?”
It really didn’t. Kame’s legs had been hairy for years after they’d started dating, and Jin didn’t mind it at all. To be honest, compared to some men, Kame’s legs had a perfectly reasonable amount of hair on them; but today, when Jin had so looked forward to coming home to a proper, clean, beautiful boyfriend, and found him in complete disarray, it made Kame appear that much, well, hairier to Jin at the moment.
Feeling suddenly playful, Kame rolled his pant leg up to his knee and rubbed his leg against Jin, laughing when Jin glared at him. “Aw, don’t pout Jin-kun.” He said, still laughing. He sat up and leaned closer to Jin, bringing their faces closer together. “I missed you so much today.” he whispered in his ear. “Will you really not even give me one little kiss…?” he blew gently into Jin’s ear, causing his boyfriend to shiver. He sat back slightly and pouted cutely at him.
Jin closed his eyes when he felt Kame’s breath on him. I will not give in. I will not. He’s not getting his way this time. But Kame was so near and he had had such a long day and he had missed him too and… No!
“Please….? Baby….?” More pouting, and gentle breaths in his ear.
Jin bit his lip.
Kame pressed closer, daring to nip slightly at Jin’s jaw line, then began to kiss down his neck.
Jin cursed his fading willpower. Kame was dirty, rumpled, ungroomed, and unshaven, but damn… he was still… so hot.
Kame smirked as he saw the last of Jin’s resolution fade away and grinned triumphantly when Jin leaned in to kiss him, giggling when Jin slapped his butt for his smugness.
“You little brat…” Jin mumbled between kisses. In this moment of utter want for Kame, his desire was even making that unfamiliar stubble seem almost sexy as it brushed against his face.
“You know it.” Kame smirked again, earning himself another slap before Jin pushed him down on his back, hovering over him and devouring his mouth. Deliberately, Kame wrapped his half-revealed leg around Jin, brushing his calf against his boyfriend’s waist where his shirt had ridden up.
“You are just insufferable today aren’t you?” Jin mumbled as his hand found its way inside Kame’s shirt, inwardly smirking that Kame had no hair there to irritate him with.
Kame continued to giggle, amused by Jin’s pretend annoyance, and moaned when Jin’s hand found a nipple, teasing it with his fingertips.
“So this yukata night…” Jin spoke again, his hand leaving Kame’s chest and roaming lower.
Kame groaned at the loss of stimulation. “What about it…?”
Jin’s hand slid up Kame’s pant leg, clear up to the bottom hem of a leg of his boxers, caressing his thigh. “Will you shave these for me as well?”
Kame moaned in appreciation of Jin’s attention, trying to focus on whatever Jin was saying. “Sure. Whatever you want…” and moaned again.
“Good boy.” Jin grinned and covered Kame’s mouth once more with his own.
“I thought I was a brat.” Kame mumbled teasingly against his lips.
“You are.”
“And all unshaved and gross.”
“You are.”
“But you’re kissing me.”
“I am.” And did so once more.
“How come?” he asked teasingly.
“Because, although you are gross, and dirty, and not shaved, and a disobedient little brat, you are also cute, and gorgeous, and beautiful, and mine.”
Kame chuckled again, running a hand through Jin’s hair. “Love you too.” He smiled, and wondered if he should forego shaving more often.

A/N: I was in the middle of completing a entirely different fic when this popped into my head. So let me say now that virtually no thought was put into this, there's no plot really; it was almost meant to be a drabble but it came out a bit longer than that. Either way I thought I would share. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
Comments=the warm fuzzy feelings.
