Description: Two old friends reunite and have much to discuss.
Aerith's arrival had been surprisingly smooth, as well as her transition to her new apartment. Despite the ominously thick fog abound outdoors, she felt relatively at ease and was having an outrageously good time meeting people through her new device. After all, she had friends here, old and new alike. It was nearly impossible to sulk or be afraid, and Aerith was never opposed to new experiences... but this war was still a puzzle to her, as was the constant mention of weapons and...what was it, meisters? Strange.
Shrugging off the thought, Aerith concentrated on the task of carrying two cups of steaming tea back to her room. The eleventh level was essentially empty, and though she knew there were other occupants, she had yet to meet them. Curiosity had almost compelled the brunette to knock on each of the doors and see if anyone would answer...but that was rather rude. Maybe another day.
She set the cups onto a small coffee table that had been provided already in her apartment and smiled in victory. Not a single drop had been spilled. And now, Vincent was on his way. She hadn't actually seen any of her friends since Gongaga. It would be a welcome relief to view a familiar face and to learn more of the Planet's future beyond her time. Though, she wondered if it was appropriate to bring up her own death, as all three of her friends had strayed from the subject promptly. On that same thought, if anyone would be willing to speak bluntly of the present group, it would have to be Vincent. Cloud seemed too troubled, too guilty. She'd have to deal with that...as well as Zack.
Aerith shook her head again and assured herself not to worry. Oh, it was far too easy to get lost in thought! Without the Planet's whispers, she almost felt...normal here. "How strange," she murmured, and laughed at herself.
