"Hmm?" He blinked, then added with a casual flip of one hand, "Hey, it's not your fault. Things have been hectic. I'm guessing you're kept fairly busy as well?" He gave a tiny smile out of the corner of his mouth in what was a subtle pass for sympathy. If he had learned one thing serving the Takeda and Sanada, it's that a shinobi knows no rest.

"Ah, yes," he confirmed, slightly reluctant. As it were, his eyes closed as he raised a gauntleted hand and scratched at his nose habitually. He felt somewhat awkward asking, considering their relative standings within Death City and Shibusen, but at this stage the young kunoichi was the best person for him to go to at the moment.

One eye opened and he glanced across at Tsubaki, but the side of his face visible was serious enough as he asked quietly, slipping into a more formal tone, "I was wondering if you could... instruct me in a few matters regarding being a Weapon." It felt strange only because the girl was younger him and potentially only a student herself, but she was not only a ninja but a shuriken Weapon as well. Perhaps there would be similarities between them.

Tsubaki nodded, a smile spreading across her face at his understanding. "I have been trying to. Shibusen needs us to help whenever we can, so that's what we do. Someday, things won't be so crazy all the time, I hope."

Her head tilted slightly to the side as he suddenly seemed a little reluctant to speak, but it became apparent as to why when he continued regardless. Her smile brightened before she nodded, looking completely at ease.

"Of course, I'd be happy to." While it was true that she was technically still a student, she did have several years of experience behind her, as well as an entire family history of Weapons. "Did you have questions, or...?"
