Description: One (1) medieval saint attempts to face down contemporary Christmas practices and decorations in order to have a good holiday. It's not working out that well.
Jeanne knew that the span of years that separated what she considered her own times and that of this universe was considerable, but she hadn't expected to face so many bewildering things regarding Christmas. Perhaps that had been her first mistake; if that was true, her second was venturing into the mall for holiday-related purposes on her own.
All she'd wanted was to purchase some decorations for the church and maybe find some nice gifts for her friends. Instead Jeanne was wandering the mall with a clearly overwhelmed look on her face, stopping occasionally to stare at a display uncertainly. Dear Lord above, what was the purpose of half of these things?
