[Oh jeez there's a pretty lady passed out or something. That's bad, right? Oh no what if she needs medical attention god damn it all Kuwabara wanted was a cute kitten-shaped cookie or something why does this always happen to hiiimm.

BUT. IT'S TIME TO BE THE HERO OF HER DREAMS, KUWABARA. GO FOR IT]

Uh-- Excuse me, miss? [He clear his throat, trying to gently wake her up or something]

[sorry, kuwabara, but a couple nights sleep deprived means you're going to have to try a little harder than that.]

[Welp, okay then.

Kuwabara inches in, pokes Re-L's shoulder... and then runs a bit to put some distance between them.

Innocent whistling is a go.]

[welp. she's awake, but there's no outward signs. she's a little spooked (because really who the fuck pokes someone and then runs away?) but decides to pull a little experiment. her hand had been at her side for a while, and she creeps very, very slowly to put it within range of her gun for his next stupid move.]

[Saki doesn't want to bother her while she's sleeping, though unfortunately she really can't let her stay past closing. Good thing she'll be open a little later than usual tonight - gotta work on those Christams cakes, after all.

She doesn't mind Re-L being there. She puts a cup of water and a sugar cookie on the table next to her for when she wakes up.]

[Waking up probably takes a little while, but, eventually she straightens up. She looks concerned for a moment, as if wondering where she is and probably not remembering the whole - you know - falling asleep bit, but quickly settles down. Well, she'd intended to spend this time planning out this computer, but.

Oh, where did this drink and cookie come from? The sugar will probably be enough to keep her running long enough to get home so she'll take it, groggily biting into the treat and leaning back in her seat as she eats it, staring off at nothing in-particular. ]

[004 had only been inside Death By Pastry once before; he wasn't big on sweets and the place itself was a bit too... frilly, for his tastes. But the holidays were quickly approaching, and if not for himself then maybe it would be worth checking out the place for edible gift ideas. Focusing on tasks like that would perhaps help him keep his mind off more depressing things, at least ( ... )

[The cool temperature and the pure weight of his hand is oddly familiar, even in her sleep. For a girl who's accustomed to living with beings who were by all senses of the word mechanical, but mentally functioned in the ways humans did, that sensation was nothing but normal.

However - it's familiar to her in different ways. She lets out a small, displeased noise, turning her head away and into the crook of her arm.]

Iggy, five more minutes..

[Iggy? Ah- the robotic companion she'd mentioned. He sighed to himself, contemplating letting her sleep... but if she really had fallen asleep in the midst of working on something, as the presence of her notebook seemed to suggest, she'd be much better off getting to a bed. He leaned a hand on the table in front of her, his other hand on his hip.]

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's just me. And this really isn't the ideal spot for a midday nap.

[it seems she still isn't very keen on waking up, and instead gives the very irritated order:]
Turring application off.

Yuri wouldn't say he was a usual at Death by Pastry, but even he couldn't deny that he was a damn frequent customer. There were probably better things to spend his hard-earned money on, but with board and most food supplied by their benevolent kidnappers, Yuri couldn't quite remember what they were. Pastries and parfaits and other sweets were a bit of a luxury back home, and he planned on making up for that lack while he could.

It was as he was leaving the till that he caught sight of the figure slumped over one of the back tables. He stepped a little closer, part worried and part morbidly curious, and noticed that the figure was female and she was indeed just sleeping, not dead. So that was good. Still wasn't the best place for a nap, though, even if the dark circles under her eyes indicated that she probably needed one. Yuri glanced curiously at the papers scattered around her.

"Hey, you alive down there?"

As chance would have it she's a heavy sleeper today - most likely because she hasn't really... honestly slept in quite a long time. So instead of really acknowledging him she'll roll her head over, as if turning her face away will completely drown out his voice and thereby get rid of the problem of not wanting to wake up.

The rolls gets a vaguely annoyed, yet amused look from Yuri - she's awake enough to not want to be awake, which is sort of funny to watch.

He takes a moment to consider his options, before figuring that at the very least she oughta wake up and go sleep somewhere a little more comfortable. He sits down across from her, his bag of pastries rustling as it's set on the table.

"That answers that question. You really planning on sleeping here? There's gotta be better places for a nap."

Grudgingly, she'll slowly sit up, scrubbing at her eye with the heel of her hand. Surprisingly, when she pulls her hand away it hasn't really moved that bright blue eye shadow - though who knows, it may be discoloration from lack of sleep and not really make-up. But she looks less than thrilled when she finally looks up at him.

"Well since I apparently can't be left alone."

[...Well. This is not surprising.

Quietly slipping into the seat directly in front of yours. He's going to get some work done here and see how long it'll take before you wake up.]

[That may actually be a few hours, Roy, unless you do something more to wake her up. As chance would have it she's not much of a light sleeper after quite a few nights of not enough sleep.]

[Interestingly, he's fine with hanging out for as long as it takes. He needs a change of scenery.

Besides, he likes the apple pie they serve here. Reminds him of home.]

[it seems that even though she's content to sleep longer, her senses pick up that roy is there, and no matter how much she just - wants to sleep - nope. maybe an hour or hour and a half later she slowly lifts her head, looking around and just maybe, ever so slightly, confused, before she lays eyes on Roy.

Oops. Looks like she picked the wrong day to fall asleep in a cafe.] How long have you been here?
