(
Well, maybe a little... )
At this point it was hard to tell if it was because she was still angry at him for what he had told Yukimura as well as Tsubaki or if she quite frankly did not want to be around him. Of course, she had every intention of approaching him if the word's engagement or fiance in regards to Sarutobi hit her ears one more time.
It was customary for Kasuga to leave for her shift only a few short minutes before she had to be there, just in enough time to avoid the shinibi's arrival. Naturally, as she walked through the hallway only to hear the very person she was trying to avoid call out her name came as a great shock. She couldn't have been late... Worse yet was that she was not near enough the balcony window to shoot off of it, regardless of how early he was or how late she may have been.
Chewing on her lip, she stepped out of the hallway. "Yes?" she asked, her voice not nearly as hard as it usually was when dealing with Sasuke, momentarily distracted as her eyes fell on the clock. And then, "You're early." Her words were a reprimand more than a statement, her eyes narrowing into a glare.

Even if that meant going a few minutes without needling the kunoichi and deflecting via humour, though he rarely had the patience for her own barbs when he was being serious.
"Do you have a minute?" There was a note of perhaps even courtesy in the question, as if to emphasize the point that said 'business' was with her. There was no threat or ill intent behind his words, however. For once he needed to speak with her in the capacity as another shinobi, in which he was regarding her as an equal. For once.

"Only a few," she replied, inclining her head towards the clock that was kept on the wall behind him. Whatever you have to say, make it fast was implied in her tone, however she could not deny that she was curious as to the reason for his early return. He had said business, that coupled with his shift in tone lead her to believe that it was with her.
Until Kasuga knew exactly what it was that he had wanted, she would keep her expression and tone and natural as possible. It would not due to make it known to him just how curious and mildly confused she actually was.
