Description: Hanabi and Tenten need new clothes, Neji offers to take them shopping. It's as good a time as any for a discussion or two as well.
After checking with Lain, Neji arranged to meet Tenten and Hanabi in Casualty Communal's lobby and stood idle, waiting patiently and using the opportunity to reorganize himself.
The Jounin was still in a state of mild shock over the recent arrivals. Going into the chamber today, he hadn't expected to see anyone from his world- let alone his youngest cousin and teammate- and had been ill-prepared to deal with the immediate consequences. His rough plan had been to see Tenten and Hanabi settled in and then talk to them about Lain, but Bold had been the first to react, creating a lasting impression on them both that he had hoped to avoid.
But now it seemed he might have the opportunity to talk to them. Neji had worried since Bold's post if the girl wouldn't insist on tagging along despite how she had wanted to stay far away from Tenten, and in the worst case scenario, had the potential to make things far worse in a more public setting. But to his own guilty relief, Normal had been the voice of reason and let him go with a friendly invitation to ask them to stay for dinner when they returned.
It'd take some time, but it looked like everything just might work out between them after all. For the moment however, he'd be able to answer their questions and catch up.
