[CLOSED] the light of life is a flood of emotions

Description: Date finally fesses up to Koujurou about several things he’s been troubled with for a while. In the middle of the night and over sake, no less.
[Date had already pretty much lost count how long he had been just lying down on his side of the bed, trying to fall asleep. If he had to be honest though, sleep had been next to elusive for him in these past few days, because his mind had just refused to calm down and only kept bugging him ever since the discovery of certain issues he had been unaware of until now. It really bugged him more than he would ever admit, and it was clear that if he didn’t resolve it soon, things would just get more and more troublesome - and that really wasn’t good for the situation as it was.
This was really out of impulse more than anything else, but Date had decided that it was just best to go through with this right now before it bugged him even more. Totally ignoring the fact that the sky was very very dark now and the night was far too quiet by this time, the younger samurai pushes himself up, sitting up on the bed and running a hand through his hair as he glances at Koujurou. He doesn’t make the other immediately, but instead first makes his way out of the bed, moving into the kitchen in order to get some sake and cups. He brings them back into the room after a few minutes and places them down on the nearby table after switching on the lights.
After that he goes back to the bed, walking to Koujurou’s side of the bed and pausing there and then. He almost hesitates again, but the time for hesitation should really be long past by now and so Date just reaches out and lightly shakes his retainer by the shoulder.]
Koujurou. [Calling out softly, once, before shaking again and in a somewhat louder voice.] Koujurou, wake up.
