Characters: Kasuga and YOU Location: In/Around/On top of(???) Holocaust Mall Rating: PG/PG-13 Time: Nov 18, Mid-Day Description: After the battle Kasuga is in need of need of new clothing and so... very unsure.
Koujurou had been on the way to the Holocaust Mall to pick up some supplies when he caught the flicker of a familiar shadow through the corner of his eye. The swordsman immediately paused and turned his gaze upward, scanning the point where the horizon met with the tops of the buildings.
It wasn't too long before he spotted what - or more like, who - he was looking for.
The kunoichi had caught sight of the older man before he had even seen her. In one swift motion she joined him down at a normal level, ending in a crouch. As she stood, she offered her usual polite bow to him.
"Katakura Koujurou. It has been some time since we have spoken." At least a week, she noted, but time was hard to keep track here. It went by so fast to her as she spent day after day in such a direct routine.
His warmness brings a smile to her own face as she nods just barely. "Yes, for the most part." It was the truth, while she had been caught in the fights her injuries were extremely minor. If anything, her clothing suffered more damage than see herself had. "-- And yourself? You too were in the battles against the kishin, were you not?"
"That is good to hear." She shook her head, trying to shake away the feeling of inadequacy stemmed from the way several had pointed out that she was without meister. At least Koujurou wasn't the kind to bring it up to get a raise out of her the way her fellow shinobi had. "At first, but I shortly found a meister in need of a weapon and lent her my aid."
"A woman by the name of Michelle. I believe she is a member of the watch as well." She hadn't really known much about her that didn't involve her fighting abilities to say much more about her, but even had she known her personally she would not divulge more information than was necessary.
It was lucky that she had not heard his thoughts pertaining to Sasuke, as it customarily sent her blood boiling and made it much harder for her to carry polite conversation. However, he was right about the part about Kenshin, yet because he had not yet arrived she was forced to make due.
Koujurou made it a point to acquaint himself with the people he worked with - 'acquaint' meaning study from a distance, and occasionally respond if they happened to approach him first. Not very social, this one...
A statement with double meaning, really. It could have been a simple fact, but it also could have been a gentle reminder than people like themselves - Weapons - needed to find someone reliable to work with while they were in Death City. There was no telling if more of their comrades would come through, and all of them had more than enough reason to want to go home as soon as possible.
Missing the double meaning completely, Kasuga offered the older man a nod. "Yes, perhaps you are right." Though she did not say it out loud, her lips pursed in thought that the other woman may not wish to partner with her again. After all, it was only a snap choice as two were better than one and both were without at the beginning of the fights.
A frown tugged at Kasuga's lips at the question, was it really so odd for her to visit the shopping center during normal hours? "While we ourselves suffered little more than a few bumps and bruises, my clothing... did not."
Though she tried to hide it, Kasuga's lips switched into a shadow of a smile at the older man's statement. "I thank you, none the less. It is a task that even I am unsure of where to begin. I do not... suppose you have visited the stores before in need of clothing in your time here?" Surely, even Koujurou needed a change of clothes, she thought as she eyed what he was currently wearing. Perhaps, if nothing else, he could provide advice in how one might find their way around such strange clothing that this world had to offer.

"Kasuga-dono!"

A small smile touched Koujurou's face as he inclined his head towards Kasuga in greeting.
"I trust you have been well?"

As expected. This was Vergil Sparda, after all.
"Were you on your own during the attack?"

He couldn't really imagine Kasuga working with anyone beyond Kenshin, or Sasuke. The kunoichi was only too devoted to her cause...

"Did the two of you make a good pair?"

"I believe so, yes. Though-- I did not know what to expect, she did well enough for one who has never handled a blade before."

"What brings you to this area of the city?"

He sort of... wore whatever was available. Besides, lady clothing confused him even more than women themselves did.
