To say that Soul was in no mood to babysit ANOTHER set of new people was a vast understatement. He hadn’t enjoyed the last time at all (keywords: Haru, molestation, trauma beyond measure), and recent events left him listless and irritable. Still: a job was a job, and he wasn’t about to get on any of the professors’ bad sides

As Fuuka looked around the city, it seemed as though everything was the same. She wasn't even aware how long she had been gone for and she wasn't even sure if this was still a dream.
How did she managed to get out was something that was bugging her since she wanted everyone to leave with her. Either way, she was stuck here again. Should she ask exactly how long was she gone for?
If SEES was going to be a help this time around, Souji needed to lay the ground work for the different people already. And right now, it seemed the best way to start that was by seeing someone already familiar.
"Fuuka Yamagishi?" Souji asked, coming up to her in surprise. Did she remember him at all?
She couldn't help but smile back. However, she raised an eyebrow.
"Really? Um...exactly how long have I been gone for? Did...anything happen while I was gone?" She felt a little bit guilty for asking him so many questions.
"Goodness!" That was enough to shock her. "Is everyone okay? How is Jenrya-kun? And...the others?"
It was natural for the girl to be worried. She hadn't heard from the SEES crew and her friends here in Death City for over a month. Who knows what happened to them.
"Jenrya-kun?" Souji shook his head. "Everyone is okay. There were some injuries, but everyone is okay now."
Souji sighed though. There was a lot more to everything, and he ran a hand through his hair. "Unfortunately, the witches...they took Adachi. He's not locked in the kishin chamber anymore. The attack was so they could break him out, and now he's with them."
He paused. "I hate to be the bearer of more bad news, but some people have been sent home again. Minato was sent home."
"Um...he was my partner before I left..." She said before a sigh of relief escaped her mouth. It was good to know that most of the people were safe.
That seemed to change when she heard what Souji said next. "But...that means..." She didn't even want to finish that sentence. She wondered if she left before the attack was a good thing or not.
When she heard that Minato was sent home, she wasn't sure how to feel. At first, she was a little bit disappointed that she left before he did and she knew what happened to him. He was suppose to die. However, despite that, another part of her wanted to feel...happy. "I-I see."
It was all a lot to take in, and Souji understood. There was still a lot he was dealing with, trying to process, and he didn't know what else to do to help her.
"That's wonderful!" Now she couldn't hide the smile. However, there was a question in her mind. "Um...what will SEES do?" Since SEES focused on battling shadows and the Watch seems to be doing something like that.

"Is that you?" It was an obvious question but she wanted to be sure.

"Maybe a month?" Souji said, tilting his head slightly. "...Yeah. There was an incident, actually. The witches attacked the city."

"I didn't realize that so much has happened within a month..."
