Description: And even more people!
The city had always been resilient. It had suffered through the centuries because of the war, but it had always gotten back to its feet with extraordinary speed. The refugee and shelters had already been emptied and the citizens had returned to their homes. Burials and cremations had proceeded quietly through the city for the residents, and it seemed that business could go on more or less normally.
Or about as normal as the city could get, after being targeted so often in such a short amount of time. The residents didn’t blame the guests for being used and abused by the witches, or having a sensitivity for the Madness Wavelength themselves, but it was difficult to not be wary of them. Sadly, the Death City that today’s residents will meet are subdued, more tired and haggard than their previously lively selves.
Another thing that the guests might note upon being released into the city was that it was heavily guarded and patrolled by various groups of fighters and children alike. Not to keep things in, but to keep things out.
