this. Kadaj is attempting to defy Sephiroth's dominance, and the ex-General approaches his remnant to put him back into place.
While he wasn't opposed to seeing that foolish President and he's loyal dog tortured and put to death, Sephiroth knew well that now was no longer the time. The parasitic fools were aware of his remnant's intentions, and not only that, but the entire city was as well. That simply wasn't acceptable, and Sephiroth knew that he'd allowed his little remnant remained off of his leash for far too long.
He would not accept open defiance from Kadaj, from one aspect of himself, and if Kadaj didn't submit, Sephiroth would simply strip the child's life. It would be far easier than letting his remnant fall into the hands or control of others. That was completely unacceptable to Sephiroth, and he would sooner burn this city to the ground than allow for that to happen.
The conversation he'd had with Kadaj had left that lingering feeling of resentment flare back up again. He ignored it, for the best part, and effortlessly leapt over the railing of his balcony while extending his wing. It was easy enough to find where Kadaj was hiding. The JENOVA connection between them made it impossible for Kadaj, or any of the others, to hide from him, and he used that to fly around the boundaries of the building until he'd reached the area his remnant was hiding.
There was no hesitation in his movements as he tucked his wing in and dove in towards the balcony door. With his arm transforming into a blade, Sephiroth rapidly struck out towards the glass doors with three near-invisible strikes, before purposefully crashing through them.
The glass shattered throughout the living area of the apartment, but the ex-General gave the pieces no mind as he swooped in to land. He could already tell exactly where his wayward remnant was, and began heading over towards the bedroom. The wing remained settled against his shoulder, the feathers puffed up in a reflection of his inner anger, as he saw the door to be closed.
He effortlessly struck out with his bladed arm as he neared the closed door. Whether it was locked or not, made no difference to him, for he wouldn't allow anything to stand between himself and what belong to him. His mako-stained eyes blazed brightly as the door seemed to crumble down on itself. Stepping over the debris, his arm remained in the shape of the long and slender blade as his piercing gaze shifted over to regard his defiant remnant.
"And here I was going to allow you length on your leash, before I found you doing something completely foolish," Sephiroth smoothly said as he stood blocking the doorway. The wing on his shoulder still remained slightly puffed up, and it was obvious by his stance that he was ready to attack the remnant should Kadaj consider doing something foolish. "Submit to me now, and I will see to it that you'll get your revenge on that foolish President and his dog in the future. Defy me again, and I will not hesitate in punishing you."
