[Rise had come to the same conclusions at Jules had. There had never been a reason to buy a bathing suit or any sort of beach wear before. With the exception of three or four missions, most of which hadn't been too far from here. She hadn't had much opportunity to leave the city, what with having to manage Northern Lights. She finally had two managers now, so she figured closing it for the day wouldn't be too bad. It would be easy to catch up on all that was needed to keep it afloat.]

[She was looking through some suits when she caught sight of Jules--Nanako's new partner. She dropped what she was doing and went over to him, smiling]

Hello!

Hello!

[He felt a sense of relief when he saw Rise; surely she knew a thing or two about shopping, and her sense of style wasn't, as far as he could tell, as blatantly sexual as some of the women here.]

This is the perfect day for shopping, it seems. Are you getting ready for the cruise as well?

no worries! forthecamera April 2 2011, 22:16:14 UTC
[She nodded] Sure am! Except for one mission I haven't really been outside of the United States so there was never much need to buy any beachwear. Are you excited for the trip?

I am! I've never had a vacation quite like this one, but it seems like it will be a very pleasant one.

I haven't either. I went and looked at some pictures of the place we were going to on the internet and it's hard to believe a place so blue and beautiful exists. Or that we're even going there.

[He doesn't completely know what looking up things on the internet entails, but he'll roll with it. 8(]

I'd never heard of it before, much less seen any pictures. To be honest, I was half inclined to expect something with Death City's décor.

[she shook her head] Definitely no! In fact I can probably send you pictures once I get back to the CC. They are beautiful islands surrounded by the bluest waters. It looks so bright and warm and I pretty sure they have all sorts of things to do there.

It sounds wonderful. If that's true, there's no need to have anything special to do; we could just spend hours admiring the scenery.

[she nods, understanding] I think Death City has its own kind of beauty, when you don't focus so much on its gimmicky side but it'll be nice to have a change of pace.

[her eyes traveled to the clothes he had been examining, curious] Was there something in particular you were looking for? [Shopping is something she is always happy to join someone in]

Its own kind of beauty...

[Oh Rise, so positive.]

I'm searching for a swimsuit, most importantly. And something to cover myself up with, since I'm not fond of prancing around half-nude. I'm afraid I'm not quite up to date with fashion.

[Positive is her middle name!]

I think most sections with swimsuits usually have some other clothes to go along with them. Shirts, shawls, things like that. I'm sure we can find something suitable. If not there, we can improvise.

Good, I'm glad. I'm all right with wearing comfortable clothing for the heat, but not at the expense of indecency.

You know a lot about clothing, don't you? [And since he really ought to flatter the ladies.] You always dress so well.
