[Shopping - well, more accurately, going to do the groceries.

They will need supplies, this Family, if everyone is going on that cruise!]

Mr. Mustang, what a surprise. I didn't expect you'd be here this afternoon.

[Not that he minds! He doesn't get to talk to Roy often.]

I didn't expect me here either.

[Small sigh.]

Nanako wants me to come. Spirit does too.

On the cruise? Surely even you aren't so busy that you'd refuse a vacation!

I'm just worried about the city, I guess. Things tend to happen when large groups leave.

I don't blame you; the city is certainly going to be vulnerable. On the other hand, if a disaster is going to happen, perhaps Shibusen should be the one to handle it for once... if they're capable, that is.

I think they're capable enough. Like any organization, though, they have some very real limitations.

As long as we don't come back and find that everything has fallen to pieces, I don't much mind what they do. Of course, I can forgive a lot more than usual when I'm promised a cruise in return.

[Chuckles.]

I can understand that, I think.

Even though you weren't initially planning to go?

Well, other people are sure to like the break, right? A little indulgence never hurt.

I certainly can't argue with any of that... so long as you don't end up doing paperwork on board.

Are you shopping for a swimsuit as well?

I don't plan on swimming, actually. I don't think we have snacks for the trip, and such.

Why bother going to the ocean at all if you aren't going to swim?

There are a lot of other things one can do on a beach, you know.

Yes, but swimming is the best of them! One can relax under the sun anywhere, but swimming is only for the beach.
