[Someone else is feeling just as lost. Everyone was talking about "swimsuits" on the magical little box, so Aurora decided that she needed to get one for herself too, if she would be coming along on this adventure. She was only 7 centuries off herself, wandering around in a great blue dress.

She feels a little shy on her own with all these strange people, but she recognizes Jules from when she first arrived (and remembers he was very polite) and lifts a hand to wave at him. Though he's a guy so maybe it's a bit bold of her, but...this is an emergency]

Excuse me-!

[She half had his attention already; it's hard to miss someone dressed like that. When she waves him down, he bows to her, of course.]

Princess, it's a pleasure to meet you in person.

[...He's never met a princess before, what should he do?!]

[She smiles and curtsies a little bit. Not used to the whole...don't bow your head to people lower than you thing.]

Oh, likewise. Are you going shopping for that trip? I'd really love to go, but I don't think I can wear this.

[ she doesn't even know what century he's from. Clearly not the 14th...so he must know a little more than she. ]

I am, indeed.

[Not very well, but she doesn't need to know that.]

With all due respect, I'm surprised you've managed to wear something so intricate in this heat at all. Most of the other girls are wearing... breezier outfits.

[ she glances down at herself. it's such a nice dress but yeah....pretty much roasting in it. ]

I would prefer to have one of my lighter dresses, but this is what I was wearing when I arrived.

Do you have any idea what a ... "swimming suit" is?

It's what one wears in order to swim. Don't you have anything like that in your home? Although if you do, I'm sure it's a much different version.

Nothing at all. I've never even been swimming before.

Never? That's a tragedy! You'll absolutely have to take the opportunity tomorrow.

Never ever. So I really hope so! [ she casts a small glance toward the stores... ] But everything here is so different than the 14th century. Do you think you could help me? Or, perhaps we could help one another.

My, that is early. [For once, he gets to be the more knowledgable one! *^*] I'm a bit confused myself, so I think we ought to help one another.

Are you only looking for a swimsuit?

So I've been told. [ she nods a little. ] Let's go together, then.

[ and then she ponders ] I know I need a swimsuit. But I should probably get a new dress, too.

Only one? I would expect a princess to have a different dress for every day of the week!

[ooc: NOTIFS. B| Also I accidentally added her as a friend when I was trying to reply, sorry about that.]

I suppose you are right. I wouldn't want to trouble you, though. [ she doesn't even know you can just go in and grab a "size". what do you mean someone didn't make each and every piece with loving care?? ]

[ooc: IT'S COO'. also, I don't get notifs for people adding me so I wouldn't have noticed B)]

It's no trouble. Besides, we only have until the mall closes, so you can't keep me here too long.

But shall we start with swimming clothes? [He gestures toward a nearby store, still not as sure as he's pretending to be.] This store seems to have the best selection.

It closes? I see, then I'm glad I came at the right time.

[she nods then and steps off toward the store.] This kind of shopping is very convenient, isn't it?

[He wants to giggle at her naivety, but stifles it.] The employees can't work all night long!

Convenient... yes, I'd say so. It must not be at all like this in your world.
