Characters: Yosuke Hanamura, Souji Seta, and YOU~ Location: Apartment 4D, Casualty Communal Rating: G Time: 24th-26th Description: Yosuke is feeling lousy and bored, Souji is stressed out, come keep them company?
the 24th, 12:30pm, after Kurt's discharged from the clinic. And BOTH.couragemantraMarch 3 2011, 00:58:04 UTC
It was a little odd being out of the hospital. His legs felt weak, even if the rest of him felt relatively fine. Two days of strict bed rest and little to no exercise probably did that to you. The fact that the walk back to the Communal was actually sort of tiring was absolutely ridiculous, but he was glad that Souji had agreed to meet him there and walk him home. Kurt had promised he'd stop by here and meet Yosuke in person.
As Souji opened the apartment door, Kurt used the mirror of his communicator to fix his hair. He'd been pleased to find that Souji had brought him a scarf to cover his bandaged neck with, and Kurt spent a moment adjusting that, as well. If he wasn't completely mute and still a little sore from the bruising on his scalp, stomach, and back, no one would be able to tell he'd been recently confined to a hospital bed by the way he looked right now.
He closed up the communicator and grinned as he stepped through the door.
"You look fine," Souji said softly with a smile, shutting the door behind him. And he did; clothes always made someone look better then they might have felt. Dark coats held behind blood stains all the time, and any kind of shirt could hide what was going on underneath it.
Beside that, though, Kurt was out of the clinic. How much more could he really ask for? Well. Maybe the name of the person who had done it to him in the first place.
SORRY I AM SO LATE, ahhh Death Flu ;; 1/2lets_go_partnerMarch 4 2011, 02:48:56 UTC
Kurt and Souji had the privilege of walking in on a rare sight; namely, Yosuke standing up. Sure, it wasn't so much standing as it was making his heap of blankets mobile, but it still counted.
Even if he kind of stank and had only gotten up to hunt for more soda.
"O-oh, hey!" Yosuke nearly dropped his blankets, re-draping them in an almost toga-esque manner. "Uh, I didn't--I mean, I didn't know you'd be so quick, haha, um."
Unfortunately, it didn't hit Yosuke until right now that he was nervous to meet Kurt. But now that it had, he could barely make his way out of the kitchen area without bumping everything in sight. And he hadn't even seen the guy yet.
--But then he did see him, and it took everything Yosuke had not to gawk. It wasn't that Kurt was weird -- he was actually kind of stylish in a...Yukiko sort of way -- it was more that he wasn't what Yosuke was expecting. At all. When the teenager finally remembered his manners, it was already too late to salvage the first impression he had given.
"Uh, hey Kurt, Yosuke Hanamura!" He jut out his hand, sniffing loudly on the tail end of his greeting.
25th afternoon Both?fortunetelloliMarch 3 2011, 01:47:25 UTC
Mary knocked on the door to the apartment. It hadn't been too hard to find out where Yousuke and Souji lived, just asking around, carrying a plate of freshly baked cookies that she found at the mall.
Now she was standing in front of the door with the plate, smiling pleasantly. She calls as softly as she can, while still behing loud enough to call through the door. She doesn't want to wake his friend Youske if he's asleep. "Souji? It's Mary."
Souji was in the kitchen at the time, and it was good that it was close by. He heard his name called out, and he went to the door. They'd been having a lot of visitors lately, some old friends from back home who wanted to see Yosuke again, and people who had known him here the last time he was here as well.
And some who wanted to see him as well, which always made Souji smile. Opening the door, he looked down at the young girl there with a grin.
"Hey, Mary. Come on in," He said, opening the door wider to let her in. She reminded him a lot of Nanako, it was funny.
Hi! Shall Youske hop in after your next tag?fortunetelloliMarch 3 2011, 05:28:26 UTC
Mary carefully curtseyed ever so slightly so as to not drop the cookies, while still looking graceful. Clearly her manners tutor had done well.
She walked in with a smile and "thank you!" Once inside, she offered up the cookies to Souji. "I hope I didn't wake anyone. I thought that you and your friend would appreciate some cookies, as a get well gift."
He closed the door, taking the cookies with a smile. "Thank you. No, don't worry, you didn't wake anyone up. And if you did, Yosuke needs to wake up anyway."
He gave her a small conspiratorial wink, and ushered her over to the kitchen connected to the main room.
"Do you want something to drink?" He asked, setting the cookies on the table.
24th, around late afternoon. Either or both is fine!alphaspiderMarch 3 2011, 04:21:54 UTC
He should really stop pestering these kids, Kuroro told himself, because they weren't the same children that Kuroro had pestered before for very particular reasons, and that took out the fun of it. But Kuroro was a man with very little self-restraint when it came to these things, if at all. So on the afternoon of the 24th, straight from his and Kurapika's mission in Canada, Kuroro found himself making his way to room 4D with a light step, a whistle, and a bag of strawberries as a peace offering.
Kuroro knocked on the door and poked his head in, looking for all the world like an innocent neighbor who had just had a tumble in a forest with a werewolf-like kishin egg. He was newly showered and dressed, but that was a rather large bruise on his jaw.
Sorry for the delay, I had/have death flu! D:lets_go_partnerMarch 4 2011, 03:00:18 UTC
Another knock. Figures it would come while Souji was finally taking a few moments for himself. Yosuke couldn't find it in himself to be too bitter about having to get up, not when he'd been the one to all but force Souji to take a shower break. With substantial reluctance, Yosuke left his blanket nest behind and stumbled to the door. He looked like he could use a shower break himself.
"Hey, who is-"
Yosuke was rubbing his eye when he opened the door, and it delayed his reaction just a hair. That man...that was the man from his comm, wasn't it? The one who-
Strawberries. Yosuke's perpetual being-sick-sucks scowl suddenly shifted into a more genuine one.
DDD: Are you better now?alphaspiderMarch 4 2011, 10:37:43 UTC
"What are you doing up?" Kuroro asked, stepping in at seeing that Yosuke was awake (not that he didn't know, since he had listened, but it was only polite, right?). He put the strawberries down on the kitchen table and made ushering gestures to get Yosuke back to bed, looking down at the kid and noting the flushed cheeks.
This Yosuke seemed a little different from what Kuroro remembered. Although, he mused to himself, the Yosuke back then hadn't been sick when they'd met. Still, Kuroro had noticed a strange moroseness from the first entry that this one had made, and it was still here, even after the kid was already being babysat by Souji. Maybe Kuroro's reading was just off? Not likely, but it was possible.
Not really, but I'm pushing through! Sorry for late tags, hon ;;lets_go_partnerMarch 6 2011, 07:43:23 UTC
"Hey, this isn't my place, y'know-"
Yosuke's shoulders slumped, glowering uselessly at Kuroro's back with all the energy he could muster. Which was to say, not much. At the man's wordless insistence, Yosuke slowly plodded a course back to the couch, eying him warily over his shoulders.
"Strawberries? Seriously? I thought you agreed to let that stupid joke go, I don't even get it."
The 24th, evening, boththewarisoverMarch 3 2011, 07:19:27 UTC
The Watch meeting had been... interesting, to say the least. Definitely productive, somewhat entertaining, but absolutely draining. It came with the territory, though, and Roy was nothing if not a hard worker.
The Meister made his way to the apartment in question, and knocked once before calling out.
"It's me."
It wasn't too late yet, but he hoped that he wasn't disturbing them.
It wasn't that late at all. Souji had taken off from work, and while he had made plans before to go to the Watch meeting, there was a lot that he was still working on figuring out himself. Not to mention Yosuke would just lie on the couch all day without feeding himself if he wasn't there to make him.
Okay, that part was a lie. But He was busy, after talking with Minato, and he had wanted to give a cohesive idea of what they wanted before talking to Mustang about it. So when he was there at the door, Souji was only half surprised.
"Hey. Come on in," Souji smiled faintly, letting the other man inside.
Yosuke was propped up on the couch, picking disinterestedly at the meal Souji prepared for him. No matter how good Souji's culinary skills were, it all turned bland and mushy on Yosuke's tongue. He couldn't get too upset about missing out, though, not when he wasn't even hungry.
The knock was a blessing. Maybe Souji would be distracted enough to let him get away with just pushing the food around with his chopsticks.
25th, 11:26 am, BOTH? - hope this is alright. XDunrequitedtruthMarch 4 2011, 00:40:15 UTC
[Shirley made her way down the halls, knocking on doors for ingredients. She still didn't feel right about going out to the restaurants on her own. Sure Lelouch and Suzaku where both here, but she felt wrong bothering them more then she already had. So she was finally down five flights of stairs, her arms full of ingredients to make pancakes. There was a bright smile on her face as she knocked quietly on one the next door- curious if they too might be willing to part with some ingredient.]
IT IS TOTALLY ALRIGHT! I am sorry for the delay, it's been pretty art-imitating-life for me!lets_go_partnerMarch 4 2011, 03:07:23 UTC
[After a good night's sleep (on that seemed to stretch on endlessly), Yosuke was feeling good enough to get the door himself. He felt a little rotten, leaning so heavily on his friend the past few days. He could help out with this much while Souji confirmed some things on the comm.]
Hey, what do yo...u...
[Though he did sort of wish he'd had the foresight to run a brush thrugh his hair. Then again, he had no way of knowing it would be a pretty redhead would be on the other side of the door. All at once, his sickly posture snapped to a more attentive one, finger-comb raking through his bedhead uselessly.]
Uh, I mean, hi! [His voice sounded froggy still, but it couldn't be helped.] Can I help you?
[Souji didn't bother looking up at first, intent on talking on the communicator and finishing the quick conversation he was having. He had work, maybe, and he had a bunch of things...
Yosuke could handle it, right? He glanced up briefly, seeing red hair, and then looked back down.]
it's fine- im super late too. unrequitedtruthMarch 9 2011, 01:00:59 UTC
[She blinked and then smiled nervously. Oh boy...she hoped she hadn't woken him up.]
Hi, my name is Shirley. I was just wondering if you had any sugar or butter....I'm trying to make something and I'm still have trouble navigating the city...Only if it's okay to spare anything, I don't want to take it all.
[she smiled happily at him, not at all embarrassed for herself]
