AROUND DEATH CITYguillotineofgodFebruary 19 2011, 15:47:39 UTC
At the base of the stairs waits a rather peculiar sight: parked right in front of it is what appears to be a small dune buggy. What sets it apart as remarkable is the fact that a vast collection of speakers and subwoofers hang off of it, to the extent that it remains in question whether or not the vehicle can even move under the combined weight of them. Behind it is coupled, of all things, three large black coffins on wheels, linked together in some kind of morbid road train. Standing next to it is a vacant-eyed youth wearing the garb of a priest, presumably “Justin”, who Black★Star was referring to earlier.
Wordlessly, he turns and jumps into the seat of the buggy and fires it up, sending gouts of smoke spilling from the gigantic exhausts. The engine is loud, but not nearly as much as the sound that assaults the ears of everybody present within a kilometer radius as the speakers roar to life with offensively loud and brain-breaking Techno. With music blaring, the train begins to move and roll along, forcing anyone who hasn’t yet

Making a huff that's close to a bitten back laugh, Leo crossed his arms over his chest. Sure, just going prancing about in a city of unknown size and without a map sounded like a good idea to do. Especially after having all those 'danger zones' mentioned.
"Much luck. Ya might wanna give me your name, though. Just in case they'll find your pieces tomorrow and wonder who you might've been."
"Verita-what?" Ok, so Leo didn't think that he was exactly dumb but that combination of words went straight overhis head. "What's being armed got to do with being veri-vera-whatever?"
"...can't ya just say 'it's been dangerous so I've packed some weapons' or something like that?" By now Leo was pretty sure that that guy was either cuckoo or drunk. "'The time'?"
"200-" Leo stared at Alucard as if he'd sudden grown a second head. "What the hell, quit screwing with me!" There was no way that any of those dates could be right!
The line of arguing made Leo huff. Sure, it was all good and logical, but taking the word of a suspicious guy that easily for granted-!
"Well, either he's been making a joke of it or this place's seriously screwed over!" He runs a hand through his hair, somehow managing to look annoyed, weary and frustrated all at once. "I've gotta find him quick, no shit... !"
"Dude, if this date's right then it's way too early!*" Leo still couldn't believe his ears. Or his eyes. Or... What the hell was going on, the whole stupid stuff about witches 'n war just couldn't be right, right?! Feeling another panic attack creeping up on him - it was becoming a sadly reoccurring sickness these past days - he quickly pushed the thoughts away. Priorities. First find Ryoki, then worry about what's going on. A simple plan. He could do that.
Leaning closer, he peered at Alucard's communicator, wrinkling up his face as he recognized Spirit. "Oy, that's the useless guy who couldn't even tell me whether he's seen a teen with a severed head or not..."
Leaning back, he crossed his arms over his chest. "If you're buying that stuff - then yeah, I am."
