Stepping over the threshold of the mirror, Heine sucked in a hard breath through his teeth and pulled his head down to bring his chin close to his chest. After coming from Nevada in the West and going straight to a city in the North East he definitely felt the change in temperature. He was more accustomed to the climate in New Jersey than he was to the weather in Death City, but after being in the desert for several months he had gotten used to it. He made a mental note to check where they were going next time and bring a jacket if needed. Not that he'd need to worry once they got going and he was in his weapon form, of course.
He turned his head to look at Kanda out the corner of his eye, guessing that the exorcist wouldn't have nearly as obvious a reaction to the weather change as Heine was, but in the end it didn't much matter. He scanned the area and heaved a hard snort through his nose.
"Nice place," he commented dryly before pulling a slight face "...smells odd."
There was a definite sense that they wouldn't have to look all that hard for kishin eggs--from what they'd been told this was an on-going clean up mission and there was still a lot to do. Pick a spot, take out whatever you find, they could manage that.
Heine began to walk forward down the street to a T-junction in the road, first looking left, then right, then turning back around to look at his partner.
"Pick one and lemme transform--it's fucking cold."
