Location: In the general area of Casualty Communal
Rating: F for Fail (PG-13 because Rhode has a mouth on her. :|)
Time: August 29, Midday/Early Afternoonish
Description: Rhode and Josh decide to try their hand at being bullies on the new kid in town. Unfortunately, they fail as much at being mean girls as Enma does at existing.

Despite all the strange and new things that Rhode had seen so far in Death City, she was still rather amazed at how mind-numbingly dull the entire place could be. Her irritation for the day was reaching a restless peak when she went out to find Joshua, sighing a bit too loudly every few minutes and giving him the most pathetic of bored looks when she finally found him.

“I swear, I’m simply going to die from boredom if there’s nothing fun to do soon. Get up on your stupid leg and come entertain me.”

“I wouldn’t call my leg stupid, if I were you. It might just take offense.” He shrugged, getting up anyway. He’d been terribly bored, too, and the lethargy was killing him almost as much as the weather.

“So what did you have in mind?”

Rhode sniffed rather condescendingly at his leg, shrugging as she turned away from him.

“I don’t know. Something exciting... We could find someone new and play with them, perhaps? So long as we don’t get caught by that bossy girl this time.”

“I don’t think my skull would forgive me if we met her again, so we should probably be careful. If we want to do something exciting, that is.” He paused, then, seeming to consider something.

“How does a little good-natured visit sound?”

She tilted her head slightly, thinking for a moment about what he might mean-- before turning around, looking at him with a frighteningly sweet smile.

“If we’re thinking of the same person to call on, I think a visit would be lovely~”

“I think we are. The question now is how to get at him without invoking that girl’s wrath.” He seemed considering at that, completely unperturbed by Rhode’s grin.

“If we use the communicators, it would be best to set things to private this time around.”

Crossing her arms over her chest, Rhode took a long moment to consider their options. The idea was relatively quick to come, however, and she lifted one hand to count off the steps-- one finger at a time.

“First, we find his posts on the network. Then, we figure out where he goes every day- or at least, where he’s going today. All we have to do is find somewhere nice and quiet to pull him aside for a chat on the way, and wait there until he shows up.”

“Sounds like a plan.” He mused, reaching into his pocket for his communicator. A few minutes of almost disinterested browsing, and he paused.

“...Well, now we know he likes cats.”

Rhode didn’t seem terribly impressed by the revelation, raising a brow at him before brushing a piece of hair from her face.

“Maybe we should just... wait by the door the Communal. It would probably be faster.”

That was how, half an hour later, the pair of troublemakers found themselves loitering in a relatively shaded alleyway, watching the entrance of Casualty Communal and trying to look like they belonged there. As always, it was a ridiculously hot day, and Rhode had resorted to fanning herself with a piece of paper she’d picked up from a shop on the way. Joshua was subtly eying the doors of the Communal, and trying to shift into a passing breeze.
