Kamui was just passing by, biding his hours when he saw the lady on the table, and he smiled as he approached her. "Hey, there. Waiting for someone?"

"Oh, not really," Faye replied casually. "Just needed to get out of the apartment." Putting down the dice she'd been playing with, she returned the young man's smile.

"Why? Do I look lonely?"

"I thought you were waiting for someone. Pardon my curiousity, miss." Kamui looks at the dice and the table. "And what is your game, then?"

"Don't be silly. Besides, I wouldn't mind some company." Wearing a bright smile, she reached over and patted area of table across from her, indicating he should sit down.

"Oh, it's an easy game. All you have to do is guess if the number rolled is odd or even." Faye tossed the dice into the cup and gave it a slight shake. "Interested in trying~ Some people have a real knack for it."

Kamui gives a short laugh. "I'm bad at luck," he replies. "But, well, I'll give it a shot."

He seats himself, and leans his head over a hand, thoughtfully looking at the cup.

"That's the spirit!" Faye drops the dice into the cup with a flourish, gives it a shake, and tips the cup upside down on the table, concealing the dice within.

She places her hands on either side of it and gives a quick drum of her fingernails across the tabletop.

"All right. So what's your guess? Odd or even?"
