I was assisting new arrivals with soul perception. His name would've been on record were he already present or appeared had he just arrived. I can't say I know you, but we passed each other.

Unless you didn't bother getting your soul checked, then you didn't approach Stein-san and the volunteers with him. Otherwise, we had indirect passing. Whether or not that I know your face doesn't deny that this didn't occur.

Are you assuming now or are you trying to figure out who I was amongst the volunteers? It's considered polite to introduce yourself before inquiring about someone else's name or attire.

I have a very good memory. So... assuming without the expectation that I am correct, which is more like guessing.

The fact is, I only recall a handful of people that everyone passed, at any point.
