Some people get like that without sleep.

{Yako has been there once or twice.}

I have personal experience that does, indeed, suggest this.

[All right. So she's not a Wammy's kid.]

I just meant I don't see what there is to apologize for.

On the roommate thing; most partners move in together, so if you find somebody who you resonate well with you probably won't have to live alone.

No, I'm a Weapon. Are you one too then?

Yes. I am told that I am a Weapon.

Human nature doesn't really change. I'm not particularly hopeful that my efforts to find someone will be fruitful. Not quickly, and perhaps never to my precise liking.

Maybe not, but there's always a chance that it will pay off. And who's to say whoever it is won't grow on you?

Life isn't perfect, especially not here, but why not try to make the best of it?

People generally don't "grow on" me. Just as human nature doesn't change, I'm not particularly optimistic that I will.

You're very young, aren't you?

I'm seventeen years old, if that's what you mean.

I apologize. I didn't mean that you sounded like a child, only that your optimistic outlook suggests youth and vigor rather than cynicism that's often found in those who are much older.

You don't have to apologize. I'm not sure how old you are, so I wasn't sure what qualified as 'young' for you.

It's really a matter of perspective, isn't it?
