About a week ago one of the users of this network posted information that was obtained through the illegal act of hacking what should have been private and confidential conversations. I would add that our information security is often considered as the best in this world, and any breaches that might have happened thus far were only possible because some of you possess knowledge beyond our technological capabilities.
The perpetrator has been given the appropriate sanctions. We understand that there are--extenuating circumstances to her psychological state, but it is still a crime committed by one person, and--I have better things to do than to walk a child through the ethics of using a shared, public domain--[Azusa's glasses flash here, as she looks to the side to deliver that last sentence in a disgruntled mutter. She is fingering what appears to be a thick sheaf of papers--documents, reports, maps, maybe plans for world conquest--and she actually looks just the slightest bit harried, as if she's been running all over the place, or all over the globe, even.

I am taking this chance to warn those who would use the network to bully, humiliate, ridicule, threaten, harrass or hurt other people. All of the professors have administrative rights to the archives, and we can pull out records of your misdeeds if there is a need for us to act to protect someone from getting hurt. Please watch your language as well; there are children as young as eight accessing this network, and I would like for them to avoid being exposed to your atrocious verbal tics. I am trying to be understanding of your different cultures, but my patience has a limit, and I will impose censors if I believe that you are going too far or being deliberately antagonistic.
