044 | Mustang + Dojima | October 29, at around 1 PM | Video
[This post goes up directly after Rise’s in the evening. Here’s Roy again - he’s at home, but he’s dressed up to go. Also looking very serious. Dojima, in the meantime, is in the background, leaning against the door frame of their bedroom and watching Roy at work - he’s on his feet, amazingly, and looking better than he did the LAST time he showed up on the network. ...Still sick, though.]
Vriska Serket has been spotted by one of our men - she's wanted for a crime levied against one of the residents here. I want everyone to try and stay indoors, and avoid contact with her. We of the Watch have an operation underway to catch her before this night ends, and we’d like, as much as possible, for the rest of you to let us handle this.

I need visuals on Vriska while she’s on the run. Would you mind giving me access to that sort of information for the duration of this operation? I’ll be on the move, so I’ll need to see this from my PDA while I’m tracking her.

You’ve all seen the post by now, I’m sure. I want all available Watch members to come on duty for this. Zone Leaders, have your men guard the borders and other possible entranceways into your zones to keep Vriska out - I intend to herd her away from the more densely populated areas of the city and to the outer quarters, where we can trap her. Is there anyone who can help us track her down? We need to flag her... the surveillance cameras at the Agency can only do so much for us.
I need people who can chase Vriska down this route. [Have a map of the entire city, with the route Roy is talking about marked down in red.]. Katsura, I understand that you’re already working on this. I want another pair to help him out. [Pause.] Selendis and Karkat: I think the two of you might do the trick. If you’ve got problems with this, let me know now and I’ll find somebody else to take your places.
I need volunteers - four in total, all capable of fighting and preferably with partners or a Meister or Weapon they can temporarily work well with - to be on standby in this area. [You’ll notice that the route of the chase terminates at a big red spot, marking an area just past the Inner City Residential District.
Roy is now putting his gloves on. They’re not quite spark gloves, but the thought that they’re something like it is comforting. Rituals are important, after all. Dojima’s straightening up, and heading back into the bedroom.]
I’m going to be on the field, positioned at this place. [A blue dot comes on screen this time, marking a new spot on the route: a choke point between the Financial and Service District and the Inner City Residential District.] Hawkeye, you’re with me. Our task will be to provide fire support for our chasers --

[And Dojima’s suddenly back on screen, looking displeased. From the looks of it, he was right about ready to go out with Roy.]
I’m going with you. [Now that he has Roy’s attention, Dojima is frowning in earnest. Cue Roy staring at him for about one second before his hand is covering the screen. And the speakers. Their dialogue is REALLY muffled, but those playing close attention might be able to hear it in its entirety.]
No, you're not. You're still sick.
I can manage this much, at least.
How am I supposed to believe that? This is the first time I've seen you manage to stand up and move around!
I've been down long enough as it is.
We'll be fighting someone, you know. Transformation might wear you down.
I can keep my Weapon form better than I can my balance even on a good day.
...Can we continue this after I'm done?

[There is a bit of a pause before Roy finally pulls his hand away from the communicator. Dojima’s not visible from where he is. The expression on Roy’s face is a mix of exasperation and embarrassment.]
...As I was saying, Hawkeye and I will take care of wearing Vriska down. If we’re lucky, we might be able to stop her here, before she even reaches the trap we’ll have laid out for her.
