But if people cannot afford or uncomfortable, I have said that they can come as they wish to dress. It'd be unfortunate to shun them because of such things, after all.

If you cannot find one or truly do not wish for it, it's fine to come without one. I'd rather see the beauty of everyone in the colorful formal wear to fill the ballroom with its majesty, but I am willing to be flexible on the matter, too.
