[There's of course obviously a reason as to why Phoenix isn't using video - he knows well enough that he looks terrible beyond belief, and besides speaking is all that is needed for this anyway. He sounds pretty bad even from his voice alone, and its obvious that he's taking a great deal of effort to even get himself to speak.]
...somehow it feels like its been forever, even though its only been a bit over a week. [Small laugh here, and its audibly forced.] Though this is a bit late, for all who were rescued I thank Shibusen and all the guests who helped for having rescued us from that place; a bit more, and it might have been too late for all of us. [Pessimistic, but Phoenix has his own reasons for being so - the others who went through this could probably guess why...]
[A brief pause comes here, mainly because Phoenix is steeling himself for what he is about to say next.] For the Shibusen officials who wish to know in detail about what happened while we were there - I will be willing to answer your questions in the stead of the rest who are recovering. All of us went through similar things, so my own answers should be satisfactory for now until the others are better.
[Another pause, but this time he sounds somewhat more at ease when he speaks again.] Thank you all once again for your aid in rescuing us - and I'd like to especially extend my gratitude to the three who got me out. You three have my thanks.
[And not a moment after this, the feed clicks off.]
