It's been six days since I first got here. The info packets I got when I arrived are Here, Here, and Here. There's also a fourth one Here, which I think bears mentioning. According to this, we were brought here to help fight in a war against witches, thanks to a wish-granting machine called BREW. 'Here' means Death City, Nevada. In another world. Nevada isn't an island, either. The machine took away any weapons or abilities we might've had like my Buster and instead made us either Meisters or Weapons. Our goal is to learn how to fight as Meisters and Weapons by attending Shibusen, and find our partners so we can effectively help end the war against the witches.
That's the basic gist of the situation.
But, there's so many things I don't understand. Why doesn't BREW let us keep our weapons or abilities if it helps with the war? Why is BREW bringing people like the Bonnes to help them? How exactly did the 'former Shinigami-sama' (I don't know what that means, but maybe it's the mayor of Death City?) die? Who's the current one? Why aren't the classes at Shibusen actually teaching us anything about Meisters and Weapons? And where are the witches we're supposedly at war with?
There's probably more questions I have in mind, there's no doubt about that. But I guess those are the more prominent ones in my mind right now. I tried asking Professor Stein about the first question, but I don't think he knew either. Then again, he's sort of cree- Maybe some of the other questions have been answered too, but I wasn't there when they were. It's a possibility. Still, I can't just leave all this alone though. I want to help. I'm not going to stand by while people get hurt, even if this isn't my own world. But I don't know what to do, not when I know so little.
I'm going to try to research some of these things in a library. I should've probably done that earlier, but...

I'm going to train myself too. I don't have my Buster with me, so I can't rely on it here. I need to rely on myself. Maybe I should learn how to fight hand-to-hand, as well as train with swords.
I should be more worried about one of the Bonnes being here, thanks to BREW. But... maybe they know this is bigger than any treasure hunt back home. They helped me with Juno, didn't they? Maybe they'll help me here too.
Wow, if I type anymore, Roll might get jealous that I can write longer diary entries than her. Heh.

Is there a library around here? I was thinking about checking it out at some point after-school, if there was one. I might've missed it.
