A big thanks to Spirit-sensei for a lot of the questions he answered in his recent post. Figured I should compile this all as well, so here we are on Transforming and Resonation.
Above all transforming is instinctual. As Spirit said "it's like trying to teach someone how to walk." Changing is a very tricky process that comes only with practice and concentration. Think about it, and your body will learn on its own. There are bound to be mistakes along the way, such as having difficulty turning back to your human shapes getting stuck under couches with the dust bunnies, breaking arms and other things but it'll come in time.
Now onto Resonation. If you haven't yet go back and read the small blurb about Weapons and Meisters first. The explanation of Resonation is there. Also, as I mentioned there, a good friendship does not necessarily mean two people will resonate well. It certainly does help though. To be absolutely certain if you work well with someone, the Weapon will have to transform and see if they can be wielded by the Meister. If they can I suppose souls their souls waves will mesh.
If they can't, their souls' waves will clash which can bring some harm to both Meister and Weapon. It might be something as little as the Meister being unable to pick up the Weapon, or as bad as getting burned.
Luckily enough finding a partner doesn't seem like it's too hard. Like so many of the other things in this world, it'll be something instinctual. You'll just know that this person is the partner for you.
