That said, please do not feel bad about what you might have done under the influence of the madness wave. Even the strongest technicans take years to learn how to fight it, and you have only been here for weeks, if not months. We have certainly failed to take into account the possibility that your abilities might resurface in such an incident.

If you still feel guilty about the damages you have wrought, though, we will gladly accept your help with repairs. If not, I would suggest doing something about the issues that you believe might be the origin of the effects you experienced. The madness wave is one of our enemies' strongest weapons. This won't be the last time that you'll be subjected to it, but hopefully we will be able to help you learn how to resist it.

I have begun looking for the people who were reported to have disappeared at the height of the attack. I have yet to find any trace of them in the populated areas of the city. I will now expand my search to the waterways and the outskirts. Please rest assured that we at Shibusen will do our utmost to locate them.
