Fourth Leaf - Boredom thy name is Matthew [Voice]

Ah, so I can't help but to wonder.

Since we're in a school and we're all about to take classes, what do you think we should bring? Paper? Pens? Will we be sitting at a desk or ...perhaps it'll be more hands on than that ( Read more... )

You've never been to school before? It's fun! W-well, except for math.

I see my friends there, and we have lessons all day, different teachers for different classes. We take turns cleaning the classroom, and we have clubs, too.

Things to bring... hmm, maybe something to take notes with would be good? They haven't mentioned any books we have to read or anything else. Maybe we could ask a teacher if we need something?

I've been inside schools before but I've never been an actual student? Not at any place like a high school or university.

It sounds a lot like the dramas on TV.

Hmm, so a notebook?

I see!

[have a bemused little girl. Sakura doesn't watch much TV. XD;;] There are dramas about schools? But aren't schools really normal?

I guess so! Do you think we'll have quizzes and stuff, too?

They are! But that's why people like to watch shows about them. It reminds them of themselves, I think. They're really entertaining.

Maybe. It makes sense right? I guess we'll also have real grades too.

... School is interesting...

Hahaha, you don't say that with a lot of enthusiasm. Is that a bad 'interesting' or a good one?

... A good interesting. It's necessary.

I see. I imagine it is.

Is your school like the ones on TV, too?

To be honest, I don't remember much of the schools I went to before my second year of high school. They were all good schools, but they all started blending together after a while.

A lot. And at the end of this school year I was supposed to leave for somewhere else, but I'm not sure what's going to happen now.

I suppose it depends on what courses you're taking. For theory, pen and paper at a desk, pouring over books. As for hands on lessons... Well, it is called 'practical'.

... Between the schools in the first district back home and the teachings at the church, I think I enjoyed learning at the church more.

I see.

The church? Interesting, what kind of lessons did you get there. Was is soley religious or did they teach you other things, as well?

We have to learn other things as well. It takes more than simple knowledge of the legends surrounding the seven ghosts...

Learning how to utilize zaiphon and how to exterminate Kor is also a part of our duties, albeit some people are better suited for the role of bishop than others.

Legend of the seven ghosts? I'm not familiar.

Ah, your schooling sounds very interesting.

Really? Were you homeschooled?

Sort of! My brothers taught me everything important when I was younger.

That's pretty cool. How many brothers do you have?

Ah ...quite a few. Four or five that I'm really close to, though.
