What is the punishment for plagiarism?

I would like to know because I've been a victim of it recently and need to know my options. Personally, I believe the death penalty should be imposed. Even BREW can make mistakes. It ordered someone else and got the wrong guy. But without a return address, there's nothing it can really do.
