I arrived at work about 10 minutes early. Had already decided to try to get done about fifteen minutes early, because I wanted to drop over to our wonderful HUGE bookstore in Portland, Powells.
it worked. Fortunately I was assigned to "station one" (of the three options), which is the lightest intensity.
I keep a discman with me, on my treatment cart or my desk at work. having music with me makes anything go better. So there I was, with Kathy Mettea and then with Yoyo Ma, this evening. Sweet.
I clocked out at 10:16pm, headed into Portland from Gresham, got there about 15 minutes before closing, found the trilogy I've been wanting to pick up (which I plan to read and then give to our grandson), and got home before 11:30.
