nursing--enjoyable again.

The past two days were my first ones in my new position, (working at the same place where I was in management for four months, but am now (my preference) working as a staff/charge nurse). It's going really well. I'm feeling more capable and comfortable in this role than I have, since the times I was doing home health/hospice, five years ago. And I'm finding myself more efficient than I thought I'd be, as well; a delightful find. I hadn't expected that. It seems that, despite my off and on working in nursing, I've gathered some useful skills that stuck with me. Praise God!

I love direct patient care. I don't love upper-level management. Thus, I'm now back doing what I love. Hooray!
