another boring update
hello my peeps.
so, here is what's been going on with the job situation...
the mars bar people keep asking me if i am interested and i keep telling them that i am, i even sent an email with my availability and i have heard nothing. i think that matthew does not want me to work there and so is kind of voicing his concerns with them and that turns them off. Which in the end is okay because it's one thing to hang out occasionally at a bar but i think it would probablly lose it's magic if i were working there. But pooh on the mars bar people for ignoring me anyway!!
I got a letter from VCU about the Greek Life Cooridinator position...it requires a masters degree...which they should have posted in the advertisement!! No news from the AARP job which means negative i'm pretty sure...
However, I did get the management position at ATL!! I start May 1 and it is a pretty good raise so it will make life a lot easier! So once I get settled in that I am going to start focusing more hard core on school again...it's kind of been at a stand still. So here is the poll of the day. I have about 1 year to a year and half to go on my MaED. It would require some more classes another practicum (which is a 2week stint in a classroom) and then a semester of student teaching. So do I finish this out merely because I've started it or does anybody think it might be worth it to change my track? I'm pretty sure now that teaching is not my thing and may do better with a MFA in writing or rhetoric but is it worth it to swith now or should I just finish up with the education? I can't decide and I'm afraid if I change now people will think I'm crazy plus it would be a lot more time and money and I'm not sure UMW offers an MFA so I'd have to go to another school, but it may be worth it....i guess i just have to research it more...any thoughts?
