Life has been crazy. Not exciting crazy, just boring crazy, but crazy nonetheless. I've been trying to catch up with everything that I've been neglected for so long, namely my finances, religion, and a real quest for a job. It is proving to be a long drawn out process but I think this year I might actually reach some of my birthday goals.

I've been praying my rosary everyday, which is my Lent thing. So, I missed a few days here and there but for the most part I've been keeping up with it pretty well. I found a website that tells you exactly how to pray the rosary. It has the mysteries listed and little things to say about each mystery between each Hail Mary so you can focus more clearly on them. Very cool. The website is www.rosary-center.org/howto.html if anyone is interested.

So the big news is yes, I have met Mr. X. He is very nice and cute! I approve!!! hehehehe...Bekah, Matthew and I met Miss O. and Mr.X at the Martini Kitchen and Bubble Bar in Richmond last Friday night (which is a very cool place...I recommend it, but it is a little pricey). He was nice to talk to and he never let Miss O. out of his site. And whenever she wasn't around he would say to me, "I really like Miss O." All together now, "awwww...." After, we went to Mars Bar because Matthew has trade there so we got free drinks (free for us anyway and who can beat that?) As Miss O. has mentioned in her journal there was a guy there taking pics. They are posted on his website www.insanehippie.net. Scroll down to the bottom of the main page and you will see them. Then you, too can be on the inside scoop about Mr.X. I have to say he's hot. A good find. So, while I was getting tipsy at Mars Bar (I didn't have any dinner which was not smart) and keeping Miss O. out too late when she had to work at 8am the next morning, I got offered a job! Tucker, the owner of Mars Bar asked if I wanted to bartend! Being a drunk girl at the time of the conversation I could already picture myself whipping out drinks like Tom Cruise in Cocktail and being oh so sexy doing my entertainment for the evening on the bar like the girls in Coyote Ugly. So, of course I enthusiasticly said yes! He said I didn't need experience, that they would train me! So, I have to email Heather about my availablity but I think I'm going to get a parttime job at Mars Bar...which will really help with my finances since I need something extra right now until I find a good job.

In other news I am constantly seeking employment. I can get a management position at ATL starting this summer but I'm not sure if that is what I want to do. I know I can get it because my DM came down yesterday and gave me a Bravo for my work at Oyster Point and she always talks to me and everyone says she likes me so I'm pretty sure I can get that position no problem. It would pay well and would give me the flexibility to work at school, but....I have the issues right now so I don't know. I have also applied to the Greek Life Coordinator position at VCU, and a Program Assistant position with AARP. Those are my most recent attempts. Doing my best to keep positive but its really sucky right now. Maybe I will make so much money as a bartender I can quit my job and just write for a living!
