Unrelated but fyi, I'm delaying Project Social Hydra until most people are off hiatus. With this big hiatus train going on, people who signed up for the project might miss it.

The only thing I plan on doing is having Azusa sing a Christmas song (she has like three)...not sure if that would be SOS backed or not, but...I can offer her up for making SOS Brigade relevant posts if you need me to! She's new, so I don't know if Haruhi would pawn planning off on her, but she'd do pretty much anything told. So, like, if she needed to sit and collect names for a secret santa/announce it...I could have her do it for you.

I think I'll get the announcement for doing whatever I decide we're doing tonight but if you want to put up a mass log for whatever it is later (perhaps working in an Azusa performance into that??) it would be really awesome. If we decide to go with Option B.

Actually, can I take you up on running a Secret Santa thing? ICly and OOCly, I mean. We can talk more on IMs or something, but that would be a great help. to give people time we'd need to OOCly put up a sign up post or something like very soon and assume people signed up before the draft/bad weather and if you could do that it would be amazing.

The singing I will work into our actual Mass Log whatever it is if you want.

At least we've pretty much narrowed it down to B and C though. Personally I don't mind forward-dating, and it's doing so for Christmas, right? It's not like that date's hard to keep in mind so... shouldn't be too confusing, yeah? I'd feel kinda bad if you were left out of the threads so.

While I wouldn't want to be left out, at the same time I get the impression I'm going to want to filter out my threads before I leave, so I'm actually looking more partial to Option B if I can swing it. But... hm.

I don't think there's historically been a lot of experiments in December though, has there? /looks it up

EDIT: 2008 had John's intro, 2009 had Rem saying cool things, and 2010 had a draft mid-way through the month. There has never been an actual experiment around Christmas time. Ergo, while I do hear what you're saying I don't think it would be ICly pushed back because there's no reason.

Fair enough. I just sort of don't want to thread in something on the 21st/22nd only to have me going to vanish completely on the 25th and come back (as you said) with the holiday mood totally worn out. So even if I put it up early, which might be a good idea, I might not thread in it.
