Good News, Honey! Or: That Time Stephanie Kneed Damian in the Balls
Stephanie Brown was pissed, which was rarely good news for anyone. She did stupid things when she was upset, and although she thought with a clearer head now than in years past, an upset Stephanie was still bad news for anyone in her immediate vicinity.
Cut to: Damian Wayne. Sitting in the kitchen, minding his own business, about to dig into a fresh bowl of cereal. He looked peaceful. Content. Even well rested. In her current state, Stephanie found this unacceptable. She walked into the kitchen, giving Damian a smile. She moved over to him, and put her arm around his neck, lovingly.
And then she kneed Damian Wayne so goddamn hard in the crotch that she hoped his psycho grandfather felt it.
Wordlessly, she left the room, taking his cereal as she went.
