1. What is/was your favorite subject in school and why?
History most definitely. I have always loved what's happened in the past and how people went about fixing problems and I strongly believe that if people paid more attention to history, the world wouldn't have some of the problems it has today. It's also fascinating to me that our country has come so far in a matter or 250 years give or take. Also, next year I will be majoring in Secondary Education - History.
2. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts and why?
Transfiguration. I think it's really neat to have the power to change an object or animal into something completely different. It would probably be very useful in certain situations to have that power.
3. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I jump to conclusions really fast and I over analyze things to get there. It's hard for me to just not think about something that's bothering me. I usually just let it go in the end but it's still a problem that I'd like rid of.
4. If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
How people get along. I know it's really cliche and all but it would be a lot better to just get along with another country that fight about it. That's sacrificing precious lives and money. I believe that anything can be agreed upon, it just takes time.
5. Which Harry Potter character can you relate to the most and why?
Ginny. For sure. She's down to earth, comes from a family with not a lot of money, youngest, and sure of herself. She's stronger than she looks and she proves that multiple times. She's also there for her friends. I'm also stronger than I look. I can take people's crap as long ans it's not crossing the line. I can also stick up for my friends very well. They mean a lot to me.
6. Which non-Harry Potter character can you relate to the most and why?
Rory Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. I'm for sure not as smart as her but I strive for some of the same things; perfection, success and a good attitude. She's always up for something and sticks up for herself when needed. She has a great relationship with her friends and family but knows when she needs to get out of something.
7. Pick one quality from each of the four houses that you possess and explain why.
Gryffindor -- Courage -- I'm not afraid to try new things. If it's not too dangerous, I'll usually go for it.
Hufflepuff -- Loyalty --I'm with my friends through and through. We go through everything together and they help me. No matter what dumb mistakes we make, we're always there for each other. We don't judge and they mean the world to me.
Ravenclaw -- Concentration -- I'm a girl of many thoughts and I'm very good at procrastination but when it comes down to my schoolwork, I can concentrate with the best of them, it may take me longer, but I can do it.
Slytherin -- Determination -- If there is something I want, I'll get it usually. I will do what I can to achieve my goal in almost any way possible.
8. Which house do you think you belong in and why?
I think I belong in Hufflepuff. I've got qualities of all houses but my loyalty to my friends is above anything else that I have. I love them to death and wouldn't trade anything in the world for them.
9. Which house do you feel you'll never belong in and why?
Ravenclaw. I'm smart, don't get me wrong but the amount of time and effor they put into their schoolwork, I don't have. And also, I'd be stuck outside their common room for hours with that question thing lol
10. Which Harry Potter book do you like the best and why?
I loved the 7th one. I loved how everything came together and made sesne in the end. It was exciting the whole way through and almost all my questions were answered...almost all.
11. Which Harry Potter movie do you like the best and why?
The 5th one! Ohhhh my. Special effects and everything were awesome. I felt that the acting in the 4th one was a bit...not good compared to the rest of them so I was also excited to see the acting get a little better. It really astounded me. I loved it.
12. What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
Myself with the life I would really enjoy having. A good teaching job at a good school with a good family.
13. If you came across a boggart, what would it transform into?
This may sound weird, but a lady bug. Terrified. I hate them. I honestly couldn't tell you why but eeeek. Hate them.
14. Which Harry Potter character is your least favorite and why?
Bellatrix. Everytime I read her name in any of the books I had a strong urge to punch her in the face. The way she was described and everything. I didn't like her.
15. If you were in the Harry Potter universe, what would be your stance on Muggle-born wizards practicing magic?
If they could practice it, then let them. They shouldn't be punished by their lineage.
16. What kind of qualities do you look for in a friend?
Loyalty, honesty, a promise/secret keeper. Somebody who will be there for me. Laugh at stupid things with me. Be with me to do stupid things and just to have a good time.
17. What is your favorite quote from the series and why?
I don't know if I could have just one. I really like in the 5th movie, after Harry's kiss and Ron asks him how it goes, he replies "Wet".
18. What is your favorite quote that is not related to Harry Potter and why?
"Seize the moment because tomorrow you might be dead!" -- Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I love it because it's true, you don't know what tomorrow brings. Live life as it comes, not how it may be in 10 years.
19. Who is one person, real or fictional, that inspires you and why?
My grandma. My family isn't exactly well off between what's happened these past few years and she does everything that she can to keep us afloat. I love her and don't know what I'd do without her.
20. List your top five priorities in life. Why are these things so important to you?
1. Family because without them I'd probably be nowhere.
2. Friends. I'd die without them. They help me where others can't.
3. Car. Keeps me going to all of the stuff that I have to do.
4. Cell phone. It keeps me connected to everybody and so I'm never stuck.
5. Freedom. It's nice to be able to do what i need to do without worrying.
21. You see both a Muggle and a wizard in trouble. You have the chance to help only one. Would you help one of them or ignore the situation? If you chose to help one of them, which would you help and why?
I would probably help the muggle. 9 times out of 10, the wizard has a greater chance of getting out of whatever the situation is than the muggle does. I would help for sure because just leaving them there would hurt my conscience bad.
22. Under what circumstances would you use an Unforgivable Curse?
Only in fear of my own life. I don't think it's necessary to harm anybody like that. Like I said before, anything can be talked out.
23. Under what circumstances would you work for Voldemort?
Psh, never. I'd probably take death over him. What he did to all those people was horrible. He's like an evil dictator. I'd try to get out at all costs.
24. If you happened upon a Time Turner, how would you use it?
Wisely. Only if I really needed to. I wouldn't risk the chance of screwing up my future really bad for that moment of happiness over again. Just not safe or sane.
25. Will you remain an active member of the community?
For sure. My school year is starting to wind down and I'll have lots of free time.
