[Twelve Lauren is twelve. And sitting at the end of the Gryffindor table by herself, hunched over a book, her clothes a little big on her...and she hasn't seemed to notice yet.

[Cassie wanders to Lauren, sits down on the bench beside her, and takes her book, putting it on her own head. She looks up at Lauren, and giggles.]

I'm Cassie. Do you like my hat?

[Toddler!Tsu looks around at everything, and then she sees Cassie sit down. The book-hat intrigues her, so she crawls over, then carefully stands up. One hand holds hard to the table, the other reaches for the 'hat'.]

[ Mine! ]

[wth. There are children sitting next to her. Children]

What are you guys doing here? You're kids. This is not a school for kids...[now she takes a good look around. A really good look]

[Cassie looked so sad when the toddler that talked funny took her hat. She looked down, and tugged at the big-kid's sleeve for help.]

[she doesn't understand a word the other toddler is saying, but when Cassie tugs at her sleeve and looks sad like that, Lauren sighs, reaching for the book.]

Look, you can't just take things that belong to other people.

[Tsu understands the tone, but not the words. Her eyes get big and bright and wet, but she doesn't cry. She points at the book the bigger kid took.]

[Cassie looks from Lauren, to Tsu, then back to Lauren. She reaches for a napkin on the table, unfolds it, and places it on baby Tsu's head.]

[Mollified and happy with her hat, she toddles off~]

[Cassie waved at baby Tsu as she toddled off. She then looked at Lauren, blew some hair out of her face, and shrugged her shoulders.]

Wow, babies are weeeird.

[Lauren is a bit incredulous right now. Because you're kinda a baby yourself there girl.]

Where did all these kids come from?

I know that! [It's snapped a bit, but she reigns herself in with a sigh, because srsly Lauren it's just a kid] No, why are they at Hogwarts? This wasn't like this before.

[Cassie looked serious, trying to solve the problem in her head.] What's that?

[Her father did go to Hogwarts, but considering that she's only four, he's never really talked about it. She knows about magic though.]

This place! It's called Hogwarts. [siiiiigh. Lauren stands, tucking the book under her arm, before offering her hand to Cassie] C'mon. Let's find a teacher.
