It would be pretty awesome to have the elder wand.

I tossed back and forth and see a little bit of everything, but when it comes down to it, your goals being to learn, build upon experiences, and teach, makes me lean towards Ravenclaw the most.

The houses I see the most in you are Gryffindor and Hufflepuff (Gryffindor in your liking the twins, for example) with a bit of eagle in your liking Dumbledore as a PHILOSOPHER.

Looking down to your saying why you don't feel like a Hufflepuff, though, it seems that it's more because of a stereotypical view of the house as 'nice' (was Zacharias Smith nice, for example) while you admit you definitely have a lot of the house's traits.

On the other hand, your listing honesty as a negative trait does point you a bit away from Hufflepuff (who would value that - and not view honesty as Gryffindor bluntness).

The best place I can put you seems to be from the way you make friends, how you value your passion, and the last sentence of why you hate Pettigrew (both lions and badgers - in fact - everyone - hate him, but hating him because he's ugly is NOT a badger thing to do!)

Finally,
would I die for one random stranger? Definitely not. But hundreds or thousands? I'm not sure. Would I put myself at risk to help those I love? Absolutely. It's ( ... )

That you haven't figured out what you want in life yet, but know you want a "happy life full of experiences" spoke a lot to Gryffindor for me, and what you said about respecting those who stick by their convictions even moreso. Your traits also seemed very Gryffindor, particularly how you equate honesty with bluntness. I think you have a good amount of Hufflepuff in you as well, but in the end your Gryffindor roars loud and clear.

The way you respect people who are just "good" without specifying beyond that general concept of someone who is not evil, the way you respect people for standing by their beliefs wholeheartedly, your passion and zest for the past and present, your passion and bluntness and outgoing jokey nature, and especially the way you said you would sacrifice yourself for those you love or potentially many strangers (which, as mmailliw pointed out, does ring as "for the greater good")... all these things point toward Gryffindor.
