Looking down to your saying why you don't feel like a Hufflepuff, though, it seems that it's more because of a stereotypical view of the house as 'nice' (was Zacharias Smith nice, for example) while you admit you definitely have a lot of the house's traits.
On the other hand, your listing honesty as a negative trait does point you a bit away from Hufflepuff (who would value that - and not view honesty as Gryffindor bluntness).
The best place I can put you seems to be from the way you make friends, how you value your passion, and the last sentence of why you hate Pettigrew (both lions and badgers - in fact - everyone - hate him, but hating him because he's ugly is NOT a badger thing to do!)
Finally,
would I die for one random stranger? Definitely not. But hundreds or thousands? I'm not sure. Would I put myself at risk to help those I love? Absolutely. It's a hard situation to put myself in without ever really being there. I can't lie and say I would be willing to selflessly give up my life for others no matter what.
strikes me as a bit of "for the greater good" so really, the best fit for you is Gryffindor (with Hufflepuff being close behind).
