Tonight was the Easton High School class of 2010 graduation. The band played for it, which was pure endurance (aka: a pain in the ass). We watched 6 band seniors go, which made me proud, and Sami bawled her eyes out for her fellow senior friends.
It made me think about how I've only got a year left, and I wish I could just stop time. Just stop it right on the first day of my senior year. I don't want to graduate yet.
Sadly, this time next year, I'll be crossing the stage like Amber did.
:(
There was a bad storm during graduation, and the lights went out during the Valedictorian speech.
And it POURED when it was over, and a double rainbow could be seen above the school.
I wonder what that says about the class of 2010...
After graduation I texted an old friend, Joey W., who I hadn't talked to since the beginning of this year. Seeing him walk across the stage made me want to talk to him.
We texted for a while, caught up, and agreed to hang out this summer. Which made me totally happy. :)
I chose to walk home in the rain, with my shoes off, and was SOAKED by the time I got home. I didn't care though. I was just enjoying the moment. :)
Graduations seem bittersweet to me. But oh well.
Congrats to the class of 2010!
