Rest In Peace, Dear Friend

Apr 18, 2010 15:55

I don't want to talk about the funeral. I cried, I said some words, I hugged some people, and I came home. It was painful, but after watching Shady's mother hold strong, I knew not to complain.

I came home, took off my black dress, and went up in the attic to help Dad do some more cleaning. It was hot as crap, and dirty, but I needed the distraction. Plus we came across a family bible dated 1899.
So glad I found some kind of family documentation...

Today is reserved for nascar (rain delay), homework (major projects to do), and deep recollection.
The last one makes me cry.

cleaning, death, sad, genealogy, friends, nascar, family
