Ok I haven't blogged in forever but I'm stuck at home with a cold now so I don't really have anything else much to do. A few things have happened since my last post...
My mum came back from her trip and we called a truce, then had a big fight, then made another truce with Cawer as the mediator. The outcome is that we've agreed it would be best for the sanity of the family if I move out, so hopefully some time next year I'll be blogging from my new MARSFIELD APARTMENT! Very exciting... I don't think there's anyone I haven't told. Anyway I've decided I'd rather live with very close friends or no one at all, and since Smit won't be moving out any time soon and Edith I think wants to move closer to the city like the hotshot accountant that she is (and she's graduating Friday!) I'll have the place to myself. Good for my need for privacy, not so good when I'm cold and lonely crying myself to sleep at night. I can't wait to decorate the place. Cheaply of course... cardboard box furniture, stuff like that. Who really needs furniture, anyway?
Another thing. Cawer and I broke up, then got back together the next day... again. But things are better now, we're both more realistic and mature about the relationship, and we're learning to accept each other's flaws. I guess a big problem was respecting one another's individuality, not making a big deal of the other person's oddities. I don't know where we'll be in 5 yrs' time (having learnt the dangers of high expectations) but whatever happens we'll be ok. But someone has to remind me to stop emailing my entire inner circle less than 24 hrs after the deed. I think I'm starting to develop a bad rep as 'the girl who cried breakup'.
Work is getting a bit funny lately, I've been having some long private talks in my manager's office about random stuff for the past few days. She also wants me to provide a written declaration of a racist comment one workmate said to me, to add to the collection of evidence we have against that woman. Everyone hates her. And Eileen got a job there! I was thinking of looking for a new job end of the year but I guess if I'm moving to Marsfield then Magnamail's location is just too convenient to give up.
And of course I'm still months off from getting my license (didn't I guarantee I'd have it in July?), and on top of that my instructor cancelled my lesson today because of a car accident. Mmmhmmm.....
That's pretty much it. I guess I should pay more attention to my little blog-baby, it's all dusty and neglected. I'll blog again soon, but first to leave you all with an adorable quote from my buby:
Cawer: "Well if you didn't touch my face with your OILY HANDS then it would still smell like apples, WOULDN'T IT?!"
(and no that's not why we broke up)
