Takes a while this way

When I'm writing, if I pause for pretty much any length of time, I have to go back and read from the beginning before I start up again, in order to get back into the flow and make sure that what I'm about to add fits where I want to put it.

It's almost annoying after a while, but, I don't know, hopefully it actually makes a difference in the finished product. Haha.

How about you guys? Do you labor over your writing, read it aloud to make sure it sounds good?* Start at the beginning, stop at the end, and hit "post" without ever looking back? :-)

I've also decided tonight that Drafts Are My Friends, OMG. shay_renoylds said that we have until 8 AM Monday to post our spn_dailylife fics, so I thought I'd give it another go, and MAN, what I've written tonight is so much better than whatever was going on last night. LOL. I'm still not completely confident this fic will end up posted, but it's looking slightly more likely, especially since I'm not almost falling asleep right now. Hee!

And! I actually studied some Spanish today, so YAY.

*I don't actually do this with my fic, generally, but I usually do it with essays, especially long ones. Very helpful.
